As a parent I worry about what my children will have access to online. My son is starting to use the computer and is getting the hang of getting places on his own. The only sites he's allowed to go to is neopets (where he is a very proud member lol!)and Menewsha since I have yet to see anything on here that I wouldn't approve of. I think that where the internet is concerned you have to go on a kid by kid basis. How much can you trust them with, always assuming that someone is luring them into a trap? I think that if your child is smart enough to know when they are being manipulated and honest with you about things that make them uncomfortable then they can go to a site like facebook. I'll probably test mine when the situation comes up. Get someone I know to try to get info from them and see how much they give up.
