I love doing both, however, reading is much easier for me XD

I do write because I'm planning on drawing out a manga, but other than that, I don't do much writing. My writing is mostly for school or role-plays ^^;

dragoness129 04-15-2008 07:31 PM

I like reading better. I am a pretty good writer. I LOVE Rping! I LOVE reading fantasy, which is where my RP ideas often come from.
Also, typeing isn't really writing. ~_^ Yeah, I know how to get around these things. ^_^

x-cutie-x-pie-x 04-15-2008 07:40 PM

I prefer reading, but I'm like dragoness, I like to roleplay. But I lack interesting vocabulary. xD;

aonith 04-15-2008 08:05 PM

I prefer reading to writing, It is easyier and takes you less time. Plus I'm really bad at writing something myself.

Cherish 04-15-2008 09:49 PM

Eep!

Don't make me chose!

Writing is my career and my livelyhood... but reading is my escape and my inspiration. How could I chose one over the other?

FlyPanda 04-15-2008 10:35 PM

hmmm...you're confusing me O.O; but if i were to choose between reading and writing i would choose writing xD i mean i don't like writing historical papers and stuff but i'm good with essays, writing novels, and most of the writing schoolwork xD

but i like reading too ^_^ i luv books xD i finally noticed that when i did Nanowrimo with my ninth grade class, lol

omgitsme 04-16-2008 01:08 AM

Reading is much more Entertaining to me than writing is but sometime i enjoy writing so it would be extremely difficult for me to pick since reading is part of writing and vice versa

HappySlip 04-16-2008 11:28 AM

reaading <.< well since i love reading manga/fanatsy/horror/romance/teeny since im a fast reader theres no problem-o :D i enjoy it very much!

ellaangelus 05-11-2008 12:46 PM

i like to write, but it's easier to read ^^'
so i choose reading
i like to read books such as LOTR...

I think that if i couldn't read as well as i can, i'd never be able to write as well as i do now.
So, i'd choose reading. I'd always be able to quote anything i wanted written.

L o x 05-12-2008 08:22 PM

Reading is way easier for me because when I write I end up misspelling the words. Plus reading is more relaxing anyways :3

Queen Fool 05-12-2008 08:23 PM

I read quite quickly, and I've been told I'm a good writer, but honestly, there are times when I hate them both.

Even the most amazing book can't hold my attention for more than 10 minutes (nothing can, honestly). And I don't have the attention span to write things.

I would rather read, but I get so frustrated with myself that I don't do it much.

Julia Caesar 05-12-2008 09:40 PM

That is so hard. I think I would prefer too.... read. I love righting, but reading is so wonderful. It takes you into other's fantasies not just your own and there are so many more options.

I do prefer reading anyway. I'm too picky when I'm writing.

zigbigadorlube 05-12-2008 09:45 PM

I'd much rather read than write...
Its a lot more interesting to read something new than to write about something you already know...
Besides, it's a lot easier to read than write, or at least it is for me.

^^;

a_shy_girl_1999 05-12-2008 11:01 PM

I like to do both .. but more I would probally choose reading because it is easier, however if I wanted a challenge then I would write.

fl3ur de lis 05-13-2008 12:20 AM

For me, reading is easiest.

And I like speaking so much better than writing--
writing's too tedious for me 8D

C0NTRA 05-14-2008 05:43 AM

I prefer to write.
It's more entertaining, and productive.

Ling 05-14-2008 12:43 PM

I find both reading and writing enjoyable though reading is a lot easier to do because its a passive exercise for the brain, whereas writing is more mentally stimulating. It also depends on what one is reading and writing. If its really boring material or something too difficult to understand then its no fun to read or write.

Loubie 05-14-2008 07:38 PM

I hatehatehate writing. I used to enjoy it so much when I was younger but now I've completely lost my love in it. I have no idea whatsoever what turned me off to writing but all I know is I can't stand having to write, especially stories.

Reading is love, I don't read as much as I should but I read enough to keep my imagination wondering and working. I don't read as much as I should because there aren't that many books that really interest me, not including the Junie B. Jones series because I just love them to pieces.

petey penguin 05-15-2008 08:33 PM

not sure

i would llike to be able to write like i do but if i couldn't read i wouldn't know how to read what i wrote:shock:

Kushinada 05-15-2008 09:01 PM

I would rather read then write. Frankly I am an awful writer now...and my spelling is even worse.

tragic T E A P A R T Y 05-15-2008 11:15 PM

Even though I'm a fan of both reading and writing... I prefer to write. ;3

It's easier to keep myself entertained that way.

K_ara 05-17-2008 02:40 AM

i rather read than write sometimes because i'm not good at expressing myself when writing. whenever the teacher tells us to write an essay about a certain topic, i would go "ohh i know exacly what i'm gonna write!" and i would brainstorm with all these ideas. But, once i actually start writing, i lose most of my thoughts. yea..so i prefer reading x]

Akstar 05-17-2008 02:49 AM

Reading, I've always had problems writing about things for English and sometimes other subjects...it really depends on what it is.

Ewy 05-17-2008 03:18 AM

I prefer to write than to read; I like to see if my writing is nice or ugly.

Reading is an enjoyable moment too. O_O;

It's hard to pick between the two, though.
