Global warming is not happening. It's a farse.
The earth has biorhythms, and it just happens to be now that the average temperature is warm. Al Gore claims 1998 was the warmest ever, but 1934 actually is. So here for helpful information: http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/dai...106.guest.html There are plenty more arguments why global warming does not exist. search global warming at that website, and read to your liking. Yep, I'm republican. I agree with Caroline that we do pollute extra, but not only the US but china and other places. I don't think the US pollutes as much as China. |
Global warming=true.
I live in Ireland, and yeh it's known for crapppy weather, it rains a lot, but we've had snow in April? Last April we had a heatwave? Then in June we had like two really good, hot fays, then the next day rain, thunder storms and flooding! We had no summer, it was raining constantly! So yeh, global warming is having an affect on weather. Hope we have a good summer this year :[ |
Global warming is undoubtely true. Polar ice caps are melting, global temperatures are rising. The signs are all around us.
Companies are trying to prevent this, like making cars that run on hydrogen, but it's not like the gas companies would let that happen. To many people would lose their jobs. |

-Global Warming is true in my opinion
-It's going to happen -It's happened before we were around -We can't stop it, but we can slow it down -We arn't causing it, but we are adding wood to the fire -Maybe when this leads to the next ice age we'll adapt fur ^^ ((Not likly but fun to imagine)) |
It does not particularly mater to me if it is or isn't happening. Don't start barking at me just yet.
Human civilization has been based on it's ability to survive change. This includes change in weather. Our ability to survive like cockroaches is what has allowed us to stay this long as is. Thus, with all the technology that we have and ability to alter our habits, we have been able to predict that there WILL be a change, of some sort or another, and we must plan to survive it, whatever it may be. I'm all up for that. Plus hey, as far as I'm concerned, the less cars trying to run my pedestrian rear over, the better. Fresh air is really nice to.... AND KEEP YOUR DANG STREET LIGHTS OUT OF MY BOONIE WOODS! ( don't ask, long, painful rant that not many would understand) |
Global Warming is just another way for the government to tax us ... I agree that it's happening but I doubt we are the cause of it on our own. After all Science has proved that the earth has been heating up and cooling down since it first came in to existance.
We're also on the tail end of the last ice age, so of course we are going to warm up. We don't have to help it but I also don't think some sorces are right in placing all the blame on the human race. But don't worry, science has also proved that the sun is cooling down  |
Global warming is clearly a fact. We can all see it in the major weather changes throughout the world today.

more than true
signs are everywhere i mean, for example, in romania (my country), last summer was the hottest ever!! so high temperature, we never experienced that before i wonder how this summer will be... |
Global warming is part of a cycle that the planet goes through every now and then. For example, the Earth has experienced ice ages, which are the opposite, several times in its "life span." Just because the current generations feel a sudden change in temperature/climate does not mean the world is going to end because of it. Humans have such a small effect on the Earth, that it will eventually heal itself, even if it isn't in within our lifetime.
I admit that humans are changing the environment drastically, but we are merely speeding a cycle that will eventually end. Yes, I believe we should make an effort to stop any activity that will harm the Earth in any way, but global warming itself is natural, no matter how we may try to stop it or contribute to it. When an ice age is ending and the climates retain their "normal" state, that itself is also called global warming. In other words, future generations will experience ice ages and periods of time in which the Earth is smothering with heat. |
