There are things I don't like about Christianity.

However I see muslim/Islam to be far more dangerious. More violent, more sexist and more aggressive.
It's the spread of this religion that I find scary.

IT's only because you see the extreem parts of those religions that make it seem like the worst religion ever, no offence anyone, if Christans went on a riot them Christianity would be getting bad publicity.

IT's a few people who do extreem things then the media get hold of it make it their top story which then make the whole religion seem terrible. When for the most of them who aren't extreemists are very nice people.

The media only show the horid side of the religion and not the side that you would see if there wasn't all this going on. Like when Catholics have attacked non-Catholics which ended with the two having to be separated by a concreate wall. I know a Catholic and she's very nice she's never said anything hateful about any other religion.

I actually don't hate Christianity, just 75% of Christians. Well, the ones who actually go to church, not the jack-christians (go to church, but beyond that, don't really care too much).

Mainly because it's screwed me up. Mormonism, at least. (YES, The LDS/Mormon religion is a branch of Christianity.) I was forced to be Mormon when I was young and then was sent to rehab for being a rebellious teenager, where they tried to force me to become Mormon, saying that I wasn't sober and what not until I accepted my parent's religion.

I've seen this with a lot of other Religions as well, predominately Christians, which is why I don't like them.

I'm not really religious, if I had to pick, I'd say Pagan or Buddhist (though Buddhism is more a philosophy).

The Mormon faith scares me to be honest.
Dx
No offense but it REALLY creeps/creeped me out when I first read about it.

Haha, no worries. It's a bit... odd. Though it's also not as off center as people believe. (I will say it now, polygamy is not condoned!) I hated it, personally. Nothing seemed right about it. Then again, religion in general isn't right for me. (Which is funny because I love learning about religions!)

I think it's because there's more people that believe in "god" that try to convert people over to their belief system instead of letting people believe what they want. I personally don't like the whole concepts of having to be "good" in order to be accepted into "heaven". I also don't like the idea in putting faith into something that's supposed to be all knowing and powerful. It just seems too far fetched for me to believe.

I don't have a religion so to speak. It's more like a belief system, I guess you can call it. I do not believe in a higher power, I do believe in reincarnation, but I do not believe in a heaven or a hell, I do not believe in Satan or in the devil or what not. I believe that you should live your life the way you want to and not the way a book tells you to or how a "God" tells you to live. I do however like reading religious literature because it's interesting just to read the books anyway.

I do respect the fact that some people do believe in a higher power. They can believe what they want as long as they leave me alone and let me believe what I want I don't want to be told what to believe so I don't tell others they're wrong or right as far as religion goes.
