Lol, skipping school but sorta not really. xD
Today I am staying home from school.
Actually, it doesn't count as skipping to me because my mom said I could. xD So I took forever to find my keys this morning and I was late getting to school. And if I'm late to homeroom my senior priveliges get revoked, and I NEED them. xD I get an extra hour of sleep because of them. <3 (Because I don't have to go to study hall, and study hall is first period. First period is BEFORE homeroom, in my school, btw. :3 ) So I walked back home and called my mom on the way back home. xD She said fine as long as I do some chores. >w<! We have advisery first. Senior Priviliges? Our is just we get out of school early I think, I'm a freshman right now and on a different campus, so I don't really know about them. I have to go to school everyday, regardless if I'm sick or not =/ There was only one time I didn't have to go to school and that was cause I had a small hole in my foot and I couldn't walk. |

my school just plainly sucks, you know... i'm in romania. over here school can be pretty nice and the teachers too if you get along with them... why, many of my colleauges are suppossed ,,gangsta's", and i really hate that crap... so when you've got a phone and cool songs, they all come at you...:,, hey man can you please give me that song too?", ,, hey man pls don't be a jackass..." cuz it's like they've never heard symphony nr. 9! :P :P :P :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: |

I had to walk to school today, and I went straight to the nurses office, and then called my mom.
I have an appointment at two now, I'm going to go find out whether or not I have asthma. Me and my mom both think that I might, because our family has a history of it. |
I hated chores but I had them growing up they where terrible. I got an allowance for doing them too. It was my gas and school money for each week really. I would not buy anything at school so I could have gas money for the weekends.
I skipped school a lot when I had my license. Some before but not a lot. I would head out with friends. We would go and get stuff to eat and go to the lake and stuff like that. I do not know if they still have them but we had a Senior skip day as well. We all skipped school and went to the lake. It was fun. We all went swimming. My parents only knew about 3% of when I actually skipped lol. Sometimes I would even stop and get my little sister out of grade school so I could bribe her to keep the secrets. What time I was in school I normally would sleep during class. I could not help it when someone talks and lectures you on something I just go right to sleep. My parents where pretty cool. I got to have my senior party at the house. Well more in the garage but it had a full bathroom and stuff like that in it. There was alcohol but we hid it from my dad. My mom came out lat at night and being a rebel had a wine cooler lol. It was after the senior prom. |

I get to skip school once or twice a semester before I have to start doing the worst chores my mom can think of (clean the kitchen, bathroom, etc.) I don't know much about senior privileges (still a sophomore here) but my schools gotten supper strict in the last couple weeks. No one is allowed to leave school early, leave campus during lunch or even go to their cars. And we just had 26 cameras on the second floor alone installed. Blarg. |
wow, that is very luck O.O; my mom probably woulda yelled at me and told me to run to school >.>; plus our house is rather close to my school anyway....but i can't wait til i'm a senior, ahhh the wonder, lol

sometimes I tell my mom.. when I dont' get drunk or do bad stuff.. XDDDD so yea... I would tell her and she would be ok with it.. I think she prefers to know where I am than not know.. I would skip anyway |
Skipping school sounds nice. I don't think I ever have and will probably never do so.

Well I'm not doing badly in school so skipping a day is fine because I can make it up quick. If I'm doing horribly in school I wouldn't be allowed to. @Sevi; xD;;; I straight edge so my mom never has to worry about me doing bad stuff or getting drunk. xD;; @Fly; I'm a few blocks from my school but it still takes me a while to walk to school. xD; @Rhea; Aww. We have open lunch for sophomores up in my school. Plus I am doing well in school and don't have a lot of absenses. :3 So my mom is pretty lenient when I fulfill those few needed things. @Slickie; I live with my mom and her fiance. My mom is psycho too when it comes to really dumb stuff, but since I've started therapy my mom has been getting nicer. (And she isn't even going to therapy. o_O wtf. xD) I love the people at my school. chores for me don't include practically anything, you know...i just simply like to hang around with colleagues that actually KNOW what's happening to their life...
i would just really like if the teachers would just take it easy.... i mean, my maths professor... he could like tell you the entire history of the match in just 3 hours... this is simple for just... the dude's life simply revolves around numbers and geomethtry... and algebra as well... i mean seriously, he should really take it easily... and my english teacher(i'm in romania)is a seriously stupid BIOOOTTCCHHH... and she's HUGE, i mean REEALLY FAT!!! and people say i'm rude, but come on, that biotch doesn't even hold her english class. and ask my colleagues, they would agree with me, cuz she really likes to get on our nerves... she sends us to the shop to buy her mineral water, and when we come back, she asks us why didn't we learn??? WTF??? |

I don't really remember skipping school at all.
Lately in college though, I've been known to sleep in and completely miss my first class. owo'' My parents aren't really strict about anything, and my marks are of my own control. Yay me. <3 |
I just tell my parents that I don't feel good and I stay home. Or like when theirs a lot of snow and school isn't canceled, I get to stay home. :3

I had days like that when I was in High School.
I remember my senior year very well, I had a first period spare, so I always got to sleep in a little later than normal <3 But yeah, University's a whole other ball park. Nobody cares if you never show up for class, simply because University is for people serious about their education, and completely optional. It's kinda weird, but also tough, because I'm too mature/serious about my education to not care about going to my Uni classes. Which makes missing classes really bad, and always leave me feeling horrible xD |
I was one of those kids who went to school every single day, even if I was sick. The most I would miss was like one day a year. xD My dad would actually encourage me to stay home if I didn't feel good/didn't feel like going. My senior year I probably "skipped" 2-3 days for stupid reasons like being too tired to go. |
I'm in college so I skip school if I feel like it.. lol
