[SIZE="1"]This doesn't only go for Mene, but for most avi sites. If you're part of Mene you're probably an avid forum-poster. Well have you ever posted in somewhere that you liked generally to find out that it belonged in another forum?

This has happened to me plent-o-times and I wouldn't call it embarrasing, but a bit frusturating. Forum sites are getting intricate with the friggin forums. Lots and lots, and sometimes you just have a good idea for a thread you just want to slap it in your favorite domain. I wouldn't be surprised if this was in the wrong forum. :sarcasm:

That's why I like Gaia's chatterbox.
There's no such thing as posting in the wrong forum there.

@Fuzzeh: OH HECK YESH. CB is the domain for not knowing where to post. But people do get a bit floored when you post wrong in the GD. I like GD's on all sites a lot. You meet cool peepz.

Not only has gaia's forums been going to shiz, but gaia period has been sinking. That's why I had to find another avi site. Besides I wanted to ind a beta avi site. Thought it would be nice to be part of something that may be a while for a LONG TIME!

A lot of forums like that makes me go crazy and forget which goes where....

Which is why I love Gaia's Chatterbox. I can post about anything there. =D


Um, it's been that way for years. Not lately. anbd it will always remain that way unless Gaia decides to get strict like Mene. ^_^

At first I was a little concerned about the number of forums on all avi sites, but I figured you can just browse them all and then firgure out where you should hang out. I mean I don't play games AT ALL, so I'll stay clear from the gaming forums. XD That's just my logic...well that's just logic really.

I get confused and tend to lurk lol... But then after awhile I am fine. I mean you just have to look around and really read everything. Best thing you can do.

Lol, the guild thing is kinda difficult though. I'm helping my uncle run a guild on Gaia and the people that joined aren't active. Some of them are, but there's only a handful that actually post. I tried sending comments and making events and whatnot. We even promoted people. I'm starting to run out of hope for the guild although I want to keep it running. I'm a big representative of it so if you want to join comment me, PM me, or search "Randomness ABOUNDS!!!" guild.

I liked Gaia's chatterbox in 2004, but I started staying away from it when people started to turn into a spam/almost cyber forum. I agree though with your frustration, I feel like such a newb when people tell me "it's in the wrong forum," but at least on Mene and zanny people are nice about it.

Yeah, that's why I like the Gaia events now, because you can usually do something to the mean people. =3 That'll teach them!

Gaia has gone quite a bit downhill. That's why I am spreading my search around to other avatar based websites. I seem to be finding a lot of spin-offs of Gaia, the only difference is the rules which are much more strict on what you can and cannot post and what kind of crap you can and cannot stick around your text. xD

I like it a lot better because people now actually have to post something more than, "ZOMG! MY BEWBS ARE SO BIG." or, this one I just ripped from Gaia 5 seconds ago, "my butt? in my butt?" Ugh...so much brainless drivel. I can't take it anymore! xP

yah sometimes it can get really irritating having everyone say tis isn't appropriate for this forum!!:squee:

I do enjoy the variety of forums on some days but to be quite honest I only stay true and post a lot in maybe 1 or 3 days. On Gaia I do not ever leave the CB. I live in the CB, I haven't posted in it for a few weeks now since basically all the posts have gone down hill and I don't find any of their threads funny anymore but ehh, the CB has gone through some bad days. On Roliana I go on as many forums as I can, I'm partially fond of Avatar Chat + General Chat. I also enjoy helping out in the "I'm New" forum. Mostly because the newbies there are so nice and don't mind me trying to help them out instead of telling me to stfu and saying the know what they're doing.


I'm pretty sure I'm nicer on Roli than I am on Gaia mostly because of the crowd that's there. I've only been here for a day so I'm not sure what I'm going to stick to with this site.
