I lied constantly when I was young. When I hit my teen years I stopped. I can lie really really well to this day, but I never do. Keeping track of the truth is much easier.

I try not to lie.

Everyone lies some. You know what was weird? When I applied for my job, on the test I had to fill out it asked me if I ever lied. I didn't know whether to lie and say no because it's what they wanted to hear or tell the truth because anyone who says they don't lie is obviously lying. I ended up saying yes, I have lied. They still hired me though xD. And there was another girl that said no and they hired her too. So I don't know why they bothered with the question.

Of course I lie. I tell my one friend I'm busy because hanging out at her house is awful (her parents don't like me, and she doesn't like doing anything but going on myspace).

I used to lie a fair bit up until I left high school and now I just tell the truth most of the time since it's easier. THough even now I am a decent enough liar in that no one knows if I am lying or not, unless I want them to know.

I've only ever lied to my parents. Only to get out of situations, so I wouldn't get punished, etc. I don't think I've lied to other otherwise, and if I have, I can't remember.

I've lied loads. I think biggest thing I've lied about is my personality, since at school I'm acting all nice to everyone when in my head I'm cursing some people to the depths of hell... and when I'm at school, I'm a straight A student and everything, but when I get home I just kind of lie around and be lazy.

But I've learnt not to lie about things that have happened, because I did that when I was in Grade 2 and trying to be popular [I was lying about loving shopping and clothes, when in actuality I really hate shopping after about a 1 hour adrenaline rush...]. It's absolutely hilarious watching other people lie about that kind of thing and get caught though. EG, my friend [who came to my highschool from another school and is the only one from that school, which my mum is an assistant librarian at] used to be really quiet and basically ignored at her old school, has been saying that she had a boyfriend who she's kissed before and everything...

Which is actually pretty funny because she's apparently got either tonsilitis or glandular fever [and she said you can get glandular fever from sharing drinks [which she does] and kissing [which she apparently did but later said was just 'on the cheek']]. Which is funny because 'on the cheek' actually used to be 'on the lips' a few weeks ago. Hehe.

But it's funny for me watching people get stuck in their life-story lies like that, even though it seems kinda cruel.

I lie a lot in general though, but I don't tell life-story lies. That's for sure. ><

Meh, the truth is easier. I'm not a very good liar anyway, so you can probably just read it on my face. I lie when I deem it necessary.

And by necessary, I mean whichever one will be easier in the end. Obviously I'm going to lie about something when the truth would cause lots of problems that need solving, but other than "Yes, Mom, Jon left at midnight" I don't really feel the need to lie.

I only lie when I could get in huge trouble for telling the truth.
I see nothing wrong with it.
Sure, it's dishonest,
but it helps you, so why care?

After all, we're supposed to work towards the good of ourselves and the ones we love, no?

Part of my Asperger's and the reason you should take me shopping with you because I will tell you if your arse looks fat in something, though not quite as brash as that.

Everyone lies, if you say you don't, you are lying. I try to never lie to my kids but, sometimes, it's easier to lie to my husband then to get into a huge argument over something stupid. I deal with lying kids every day at work and it really gets annoying, I wish they would just learn that telling the truth will get them in less trouble.

I'm a terrible liar, I always start giggling. My brother lies all the time, my mum was soo pissed when she found out he'd lied to her about doing his coursework for GCSE.

It kind of depends, according to some people, about what the lie is. :|

However, Yes I have lied before.
I don't like liars and I don't really like lying but with
my parents it is often lie or never get to do what you want.
I swear just to hang out with my friends I HAVE to tell my parents

Chances you have lied once in your life, but I don't know you.
I mean if you say to your friend "That shirt looks amazing on you." But you
really think otherwise that is lying.

yes, I think everyone has at least once, if not then you're not human o.o

it is, but people do it anyway, or they tell only half of the truth. Most of the time lying is for a good reason, it's still wrong, but to cheer someone up sometimes it takes a lie, although I would prefer honesty myself

I'm not good at it, and I feel bad if I ever have to do it.

Plus, tell to many lies and you end up in a mess doing it.

I had always told myself that I was only exaggerating
the truth. Before, I thought lying was for the better.
However, now, I just want to tell the truth. Yet, telling
the truth isn't all that good either, since people would
think that you are an idiot for being that honest.

But yeah, whatever.
