When I was little, my friends and I made up this whole story about super heros. We would run around outside, protecting the world from the likes of imagenary evil!

Now, I'm in high school and I don't play pretend games any more, but I'm still close friends with those I used to play with. The other day, at lunch, one of my friends brought up the super hero that I used to pretend I was and I was like: "AW! I remember playing that!"

Discussion::
~What funny games did you play when you were little?
~Did you play pretend alot with your friends?
~Ever find something or been reminded of something you did as a kid?

Okay, so...I am a senior in High school and I was helping out the yearbook staff earlier in the year on a saturday at school. We were leading parents to the room to fill things out for the senior page. Well, me and my friend Amanda asked if we could go for a walk, since we weren't really doing anything. New thing you know, we got our hands in a gunshape, we are crawling on the ground, and I am humming the mission impossible music. We were dodging the janitors, throwing markers as bombs down the hallway. I am 18 and I was crawling on the hallway floors in school on a saturday. Who says you can't play pretend when you get older?

haha, that's great! My friends and I sometimes do things like that. ^_^
We just don't play pretend as much as we once did...

Like, we sometimes pretend to be british tourists and confuse people with fake accents! xD

No, this was full on pretend. We had invisible walkie talkies and were talking to "base" about our "mission" and how far we were getting on it. We got caught by the janitors once (being seen by them), and the mission failed then, but the other times we accually did really good. I got alot of exercise running around our school about a million times.

We've done similar things, too... just not in a while... I sorta miss it...
We went on a snipe hunt a while back.... we had video camera with us and pretended that we found clues and all that! xD

Haha, pretending is fun...

I don't believe age should change the fun you have. I am still overly childish in everything I do, and I still snicker at the word "butt" or "boobs". >.< I love acting like a child, even when I get weird looks and people tell me to stop. I love to have pillow fights, tickle fights, and act like I am a kitty and walk around purring at people. >.>

My mind was too active for my own good. I had a whole posse full of imaginary friends which consisted of Sailor Moon, Vegeta, and many many more. Yea they would talk to me, and yea I would sometimes talk back, but only when no one was looking lol. I still have a VERY wide imagination, so doing anything that deals with creation is my thing.

I remember playing very girlish games. Like unicorn and Sailor Moon (when it was still popular). >o<

Later on, I went to a daycare with a bunch of guys, so I ended up playing Dragonball Z. Haha, weird stuff.

My friend and I both have imagenary boy friends because we say that there is no guy perfect enough for us! xD
It's so funny, she sometimes dances with her imagenary boyfriend so people think she's insane.

@ Raine::
When I was little, I used to play both guy and girls in pretend games. I also used to make very powerful type characters to play... like, super heros and powerful queens.

lol!
That's awesome, and it makes sense. I can see having an imaginary girlfriend cept for the fact that I wouldn't be able to touch or kiss her :cry:

This is going to sound sad, I didn't have anyone to play with when I was little. But I played dollies, like barbies, you know? Well my mother sent me those a while back, it was really a trip down memory lane.

Me and my friends used to have this "Dogtopia" thing. The dogs were made out of Legos and had giant, square homes. They would get attacked by pirate cats and then there would be a war. xP The dogs normally won.

Me and the same friends also had this stupid [atleast, that's what I think of it now] game which was.. Uh. "Save Mr. Fuji from Team Rocket". We would all switch turns being the Marowak who dies, Team Rocket [which was actually Jesse and James. rofl], and Mr. Fuji. >>; It always ended up with Mr. Fuji dying or something weird. Another Pokemon related game was, we used to be random water Pokemon in the pool and beat the living bejeebus out of eachother.

Then we made comics and had this whole recorded "radio show". I have it on my computer somewhere.

I remember playing a game with my dogs. I'd have a box of cookies and made them sit on a bench, and dress them in halloween costumes. We would then proceed to have tea. XD

I also played a game called Goddesses with an ex.Bestfriend, who I am just now starting to get back in touch with. We would choose an animal and become the goddess ofthat animal,and create our own domains we ruled over. We'd dress up in fancy nightgowns and make fake tails, and lounge around like kings.

And when I was REALLY little, I'd play a game called Potion-Brewer. That's basically when I would raid my mom's spice rack and make a "magic brew" by mixing everything together with water.

And... I used to play house with a really, really old ex.bestfriend named Cheryl. Looking back, she might have been transgendered because she always wanted to be the boy!

Hahaha, I remember meeting one of my friends during "mission impossible" in PE. "Mission Impossible" is pretty much an obstacle course with two teams, the agents and the guards, one team to go through the course (agents), and the other to operate it (ie, throwing things at people, waving the hula hoops, spotting for people on the wall, etc).
So I was new at the school and didnt have much friends. So during mission impossible, they played the music, and there was this really random girl dancing around. We were both guards and it was quite fun to watch her while waiting for people to come to our station. Suddenly she pointed at me with finger guns and hummed the theme, she pretty much dragged me to do the same after a while. We let pretty much everyone pass easily because we were too busy going nuts with the song. (Doing improv breakdance moves, shooting, being all spy like)

A few days ago she brought it up. And yea I was like "OMG I REMEMBER THAT". Haha, It was great. She also brought up the fact that we didnt even know each others names until a month later. XD
ahh. good times, good times
