So this morning when i was getting ready for school i finished putting on my uniform and was going to walk into the bathroom to do my hair when all of a sudden i blacked out and when i came to with my mom and sister standing above me freaking out.
As it turns out i fell forward so now my cheek is busted up, my teeth almost went through my upper lip, and my shoulder is bruised up from the impact so yeah.

So i want to know:
Any of your fainting experiences/or if you had friends that fainted?
Any injuries acquired from fainting?
Has anyone ever played any of those fainting games?
Any interesting reactions from people around you?

I've blacked out before during panic attacks and anxiety attacks. And if you've never had one, you're lucky. People who play the fainting games actually piss me off because they're pulling off some fake crap. I've known people who have fainted in class/public and its a scary ordeal because you never know what happened when you blacked out.

My grandma caught my on my bedroom floor because I had blacked out from having an episode and I scared the daylights out of her.

Owie....

I fainted once. But mine was rather pleasant. I sat down on my bed picked up the remote and then all of a sudden I woke up 5 minutes later facing the ceiling. xD It was rather weird.

I've fainted a couple times in very dramatic ways for reasons unknown, and in both cases I managed to injure myself.

The first major time it happened, I had come back from the pool and my mom was cutting my hair in the backyard. I was feeling really tired and woozy from the chlorine and standing in my bathing suit in the yard wasn't helping. My mom walked away and the next thing I remember is opening my eyes from where I was lying on the ground. I'd fallen backwards and landed in the mulch that lines all our flower bushes. So... ouch.

The second time it happened, I was waiting in line for stir fry in the hot crowded cafeteria at my college. I started feeling really dizzy and my vision was whiting out, but I'd waited in line for half an hour already so I just wanted to get my food and sit. I had just gotten my stirfry and moved away when my vision completely whited out and I opened my eyes to find myself lying on the floor with people standing around me. They got me a chair and some orange juice but I ended up going to the hospital because I was in a lot of stomach pain and was overheating and then shivering from cold. But they didn't find anything wrong... The next day i realized I had a bump on my head, so i must have hit it when I fell, but I don't remember.

^^;; And now I bet you wish you hadn't asked for stories.

Are you okay now? o.o
I have never fainted before, so I can't really say anything.
I supposed it would hurt. I mean tripping consciously hurts, imagine falling forward or backwards unconsciously.

Why were you upset?
It wasn't your fault. Was that your first time? Or have that already happened to you before?

@Nesseh: i dont really know, it must of been a combination of being confused from blacking out, and also having a mouth full of blood.
But this is my first time getting hurt from passing out. I've passed out a few times before cause i have this weird blood pressure problem.

@fiarra: *Hugs* thanks-ies, i guess i'll be extra careful then :)

I've never fainted. Did you eat? People in school faint all the time in the hall, usually anorexic girls. It's kind of creepy actually.

That's definately not healthy. With the mixture of being anorexic and not getting the nutrients they need, and having fainting spells which isn't good for the brain.

I wish girls like that would just wake up.

Ouch!

Yeah I make sure I'm sitting down as soon as I start to feel lightheaded just in case - I used to pass out pretty regularly when I was little but luckily I never really injured myself that badly. I think the worst was when I fainted in the bathroom after my tooth fell out () and hit my head on the bathtub.

One time I also fainted from hitting my elbow on the wall. And another time when I dislocated my shoulder in gym class. I guess I used to have a really, really low pain tolerance?

I've fainted a few times. Luckily I haven't hurt myself too mad though...

... the first time I was getting something wrong with my toe fixed and the podiatrist was really hurting me and I blacked out.

The second time it was about 2am and I'd just gotten out of bed to find out why the hell my Dad was singing drunkedly lol and fainted while talking to him. I think I hurt my head but my Dad kinda caught me so it was ok.

Lastly was about 12 months ago. I was having terrible stomach cramps and was in the bathroom. I was getting hot flushes and then the next thing I remember was it was nice and cold and I felt ok... then I realised I was lying on the bathroom tiles... I fainted twice that night but only bumped my shoulder and grazed my knee. The bathroom was pretty small so I was lucky I didn't hit my head on anything.

I have only blacked out once, and I must tell you. It was a very scary experience in my oppinion. Because I was about 14, maybe 15? Well I was sitting in the bathtub and for some reason my heart was beating really heavily. So heavily my stomach was jumping up and down, but I just ignored it because I didn't think it was anything serious. So I got out of the tub about 15 minutes later, and I went to the bathroom, because I don't like going to the bathroom is the water i'm bathing it. Excuse me lol.

So I go to the bathroom, and everything just starts to go all black. The next thing I hear is my mom pounding on the door screaming if i'm okay. I yelled back that I was okay and then I remember blanking out again. Then I woke up about a minute later, and my heart was beating really fast. I felt like pure crap, and my head actually landed in some dog crap lol.

But I felt so bad afterwords, I got up and walked to my moms room. Rested on her bed until I felt better. I didn't even want to move for about an hour. I felt so sick afterwords. It was definitely a scary experience. I don't reccomend doing it again lmao.

It sucked.

When my glucose levels get low, I feel like I am going to faint. And to make matters worse this always seems to happen when I am at work. I kinda fear fainting now. Thankfully I never have, I kinda wobble, but then "pull it together" and find a place to sit.

first time I fainted when I took my doggie to a vet because of this injury he had, and the vet just stretched it wide open in front of me.. D: eww ... *faint*

the next TIMES I fainted when I was at hospital, after a surgery on me. my blood levels were still pretty slow so I couldn't sit or stand up for too long because I would faint.. xD oh the fun of going to bathroom... >.> yeah, I fainted like 5 or 7 times...

Wow, many people have fainted. o.o I have never fainted in my life. But I know of this one guy he was walking down the stairs and suddenly fainted. He ended up breaking one of his front teeth so he had to get it removed and a fake one implanted.

I've never fainted myself but my friend fainted once in Music in high school. We were just about to start singing and there was a bang from the back of the classroom when she collapsed. Her head was like right next to this giant hook that stuck of of the wall a little further right and she would have landed on it. I felt a bit sorry for her I wouldn't have liked to have fainted and woke up with my music teacher looming over me. :XD
