I've never been mistaken for the opposite gender, just mistaken 7 years younger than I really am. People think I'm 13 when I'm 20 rofl I've been picked on for wearing boy clothes my entire school life until 10th grade when my fiance and I started dating.
My fiance on the other hand... When he was 3 years old he had light brown curly hair that kind of went below the ears and his mum had him in the backseat and she got pulled over by a cop and while he was writing a ticket he looked in the backseat and saw my fiance and went "What a cute little girl" xD Funny mother stories his mum tells to me~ |
Wow.. I do feel sorry for you.. you must be very pretty then XD well good luck with that job.
I've been mistaken for a GAY guy once. this dude at the book store called me sir, and hit on me as well. It creeped me out, and since then I have not worn baggy clothes.. at least, not outside of my home. lol.. but it was a little flattering to be hit on.. yet at the same time, disturbing that he thought I was a boy. this is probably due to my lack of make up.. hmm.. *wonders* |
>_> <_< >_>
Be sure to make pictures when he does dress you up. o wo;; I'm kind of hard to be mistaken as a boy, since I have .. this.. bump.. right here. -points to chest- Which is undeniably present. D: |
I've never been mistaken for the opposite gender, although if I were taller and slimmer, I could probably pass for a slightly girly guy, which would be awesome.
I LOVE androgyny, and I much prefer anrogynous guys to macho guys any day. I especially like guys who go so far as to wear makeup and dresses, but not in the drag-queen sense, if you get me. I mean, phfoar! Smexy. <3 I'm fully aware I have strange taste in men. :) |
LOL.
LOL you have to admit that's pretty funny. I think you should do it, at least you'll get more money for it. XD As for the little girls, if you do anything like that for kids they will of course make it into a big deal.

Steve, my husband has this problem all the time, he says you just get used to it. Personally I fluctuate in my response, some days I ignore it, some days I correct the person, and if I am in a prissy mood I kiss him. This is mostly done when a small child asks why "those two girls are holding hands" If the mother or father says something other than..."when you like someone it feels good to hold hands"...or words to that affect, well, then they can explain why those two girls are kissing.
Some days, my naughty side gets the better of me. |
aha how old are you?
and I love cute androgynous people especially girls. |

@Username:Nah, it's not the strange. My younger sister is the same way, she sometimes pays me in freshly baked cookies to wear make-up and short-shorts and prance around the mall with her. So far I've done it once and out of it I got tackled by my best friend and I made an older couple uncomfortable. @Vicki: Yea, tomorrow morning I'm getting fitted for the costume so mehh. I just tell myself I'm doing it for a new AC system. @Amy: Ahh, when it comes to little kids and pointing out my girlyness I'm pretty warm hearted to it. :< When it comes to a smart arse man pointing it out I'll usually either flash them my non-existing boobs or pop them in the mouth. <- That usually only happens when I'm a bit tipsy. @Twinrix: I'm 19. x'[ Taku gotten old in his years, he lost all the baby fat in his cheeks. |
wow you're 19 and still mistaken for a girl? thats interesting, I haven't really seen a straight guy who could be mistaken for a girl at that age.
|
-sweatdrop-

. _.;;; Is that bad? |

I usually just see girls looking like guys instead. |
Well, next time I can try making an unpleasant face and ask repeatedly if I'm a pretty girl. o _ o I think I'll do that. Probably something like that. I'll make all the guys eat their heart out from my beauty. http://i32.tinypic.com/sdej2o.jpg |
lmao, they'll be shocked when they find out you're a guy XP
|
The exact reaction I would be going for~ `^`
|
I always get mistaken for a little girl. But I am 18 dammnit!

By the way, I have heard, and seen lesbians hit one him. I giggle when they looked shocked after he tells them his name is Steve, and hes a boy. Ahh good times. Its his hair, or so he says, personally I think it is his shoulders, they are soft and rounded. And the man sports some serious boobs, really, they are like a b or c cup. One time he was dressed as a girl for a game he plays in, some of the players are still creeped out by how pretty he is. Many of them wanted his sister numbers as they look identical, cept her boobs and butt are bigger. 8 out 10 people will agree, he is th pretty one. I am the cute one, but he is definitely the pretty one. |
That happened to me once at a dinner. People mistook me as a male, and a girl tried to flirt with me. This was at a wedding dinner, mind you. I was kind of disturbed, though I guess I was pleased in a way that my cross-dressing was convincing. I don't usually cross-dress, it's just that my dress had ketchup stains all over it so I had to improvise and used my brother's too-big suit.
I guess I was a 'manly girl' that night? xD I do think it's because people fail to realize, that or they're trying to make you feel uncomfortable, and children usually do the first one. They're kind of oblivious to the entire 'omg she looks like a man' thing or vice versa. Gay/lesbian people are just a different case altogether. |

What kind of game was it that he had to dress up as a girl? @+lieforrenn: I suppose so. Did the girl ever find out you were a girl? I'm not really bothered by it unless the person is extremely rude about it and touch you in the process of their examination of your gender. |
I've been mistaken for a girl before... but only from behind. I think it's the long hair. Despite the fact that I might come off as girly on the internet, I don't think I would in person.
|
aww... the little girls were flirting with you. xD
haha. i've never been mistaken for a boy even though i have short hair and i always wear sporty/loose clothes. |
You lucky dog! I wish I got hair clips from little girls! D<
Hmm....not me. Espeically because I have long hair or whatever....? I dunno. But my cousin has been mistaken for a guy......but raelly, she doesn't look like one. How wierd. =/ I did mistake a guy for a girl once. He was like in 5th grade I think. Why did you wear those hair clips? D< Haha. But that is still funny. Wow...your mom actually thought that Bou was you? xD Wait--exactly what does she look at on the internet? ;___; Hmmm....let me see pictures, okay? And...take more pictures when you dress up as a girl! ;D |

@Username- I agree we so need a pic of that XD |

I forget, but I agree about how so many Asians look androgynous.. |
amg, you reminded me of the WORST moment of my life. ; 3;
when i was about nine, i was toboganing (sp?) with my friend. then some woman came up to me and said "escuse me, my sons are fighting over whether you're a boy or a girl. which are you?" i was SO shocked. i mean, who does she think she is? so i turned to her and yelled "I'M A GIRL! >:U" and toboganed down the hill. if i could go back in time, i'd hit her with a glove and tell her a little about respect. >_> |
The only time I've been mistaken for a boy was when I was a baby. I was completely bald for quite a while and even though my mom would dress me in dresses and pink things and put those headbands with bows on them on me, people would still come up to her and say things like "Aww. How sweet. How old is he?" >_<
Hypomanic Poet: Do you mean Gackt? I'm trying to think of Japanese singers/actors/celebrity-type people whose name begins with a G and Gackt's the only one I can think of... |
