When I was 8 or 9, my mom cut my hair very short and then decided I needed a perm, I cried like nobody's business. After she did that, my brother and I had to go somewhere with her, I don't remember where exactly that was a long time ago, I need to use the restroom so, I went to the ladies room and some janitor or something followed me in ( I was scared) and asked if I was in the right restroom (more crying). Needless to say, I didn't like my mom much for a while after that.

I've never been mistaken for a man. I have a very feminine face, even with a larger build (hardly feminine, no curves :cry:) I have a "robust" chest.
My mother however; mistaken for a man all the time before she began wearing dresses and skirts and watching Project Runway all the time. My older brother has long hair, and when he was younger and a bit skinny, he was mistaken as a woman from the back. |

I've had that same problem. It's because I like my hair a bit long, and I guess I just look female x_X I'd be one ugly girl if I was female, though...What with the deep voice, and the facial hair... But still, I think it's really cool that you're okay with people mistaking you're a girl ^-^ |
ive been mistaken for a boy twice in my life---hated it each time.... =_= seeing as how im a girl.
i blame the braids i was wearing at the time~ cause now it doesn't happen to me anymore :3 |

when i was 8 i had my hair cut really short and of course back then, i had a flat chest. Well anyways, my mom and i were at mcdonalds and the lady asked if the "little boy" wanted a boy's kids meal or the girls. ;-; my mom of course answered that i was a girl and the chick at the window just kinda shrugged and went about her business. That was a horrible day for me *runs off* later! |

I can't say that I have ever been mistaken for a boy... my *ahem* chest area is a little too prominent for mistakes like that to be made!

I don't think they have. ><" Oh.. I just read sungie's post.. people always thought I was a boy when I was a baby because I had no hair (my mum's always telling me how ugly I was) . My parents had to dress me up in pink and buy lots of headbands for me. XD Also, in recent years, I've developed an...odd little hormone problem. When I'm stressed...hormone-wise, I actually turn into a boy. I'm not kidding - my voice cracks and comes out lower, and I start growing some INSANE body hair, to name some of the more visible things. My hormone levels just get SCREWED UP. So when I'm stressed, I get mistaken for a boy quite often, despite my long hair - flat chest + low voice + facial hair = guy, right? Again...not always. XD Personally, I don't mind. I'm totally used to it. But I do find it a bit...weird. |
Isnt Gackt um how do i put this nicely, More fond of men than women? Someone i used to call a friend was obsessed with him and tried to get me to be as well and i just found him rather annoying after that.

It's REALLY awkward, considering that I sing a lot. XD;; And I don't worry much about the hair until I have a visible beard, really. But after a while, it does come to that. XD;; I tried to ignore that, too, until someone came up to me and asked if I was a man or a woman. e_e I don't mind being mistaken for a boy once in a while (hell, I'd probably mistake a thinner version of myself for a man XD), but I do GREATLY dislike it when people have to ASK.
