So what is it that you usually look for in the opposite sex?

Someone smart, charming, weird or nerdy, what is it? : )

I would look for a guy who would play video games with me, cosplay maybe with me? and...would just have fun with me xD Heck I'd cook for the guy, and never complain about cleaning and such, unless he cleans too, that'd be awesome.

Otherwise in looks, a regular guy I guess, I'm not picky.

I want a guy who doesn't mind my nocturnal nature or my love of gaming. (DnD and Spycraft for the win!)

I need a guy who wouldn't mind me being silly or slightly retarded half the time. But seriously, I think I'm more attracted to older guys, simply because they're more mature and know a hell lot more than most guys my age.
OH. And they need to have a lot of appreciation for music. Preferably music I like.

1. Probably taller (although if he was waaaaaay shorter than me, I'd be okay with that. I'd make fun of his height as a common joke. >D).

3. Honest most of the time (but there are times when you want someone just to say words that'll make you happy).

I want a guy that knows my personality, good and bad point, accepts all of it and loves me for who I am. He'd have to be fairly intelligent and able to hold a good conversation, and sort of submissive. I'm headstrong, I wouldn't take being bossed around very well. n.n; but I wouldn't want a guy I could walk all over either. No one wants to date their doormat. e_e

Looks wise, I'm not terribly picky. I'd prefer if he were taller than me, I like dark hair and features with pale skin, but I have a soft spot for the princely blond hair and blue eyes. I'd make him keep his hair longish. XD I hate really short haircuts.

First and foremost, a good taste in music. I don't want to have to fight the guy about what to listen too all the time. :"P I also look for a guy that can make me laugh my ass off, and one that isn't too pretentious.

I look for, probably a lot, in a partner. I look for someone who can understand my natural bookishness maybe even empathize so we could discuss what we're reading together, someone who doesn't mind my questions or nocturnal nature, who would understand my fears, who also adores animals (including but not limited to my little sister), and someone who has a kind, and caring nature about them.

They've got to have a sense of humor, but know when to be serious. Kind when need be and who will go out of their way to find out whats wrong with me or just to see me. They're got to be an animal lover, and have SOME similar tastes as me. And someone who isn't afraid to point out my flaws, so I can fix them.

I look for a kind and loving girl who accepts my weird ways of life and loves my family as much as I do. Also one who has mild risk taking thing going for he and someone who can ignore my girlyness even for a second.

I want a girlfriend that is a true friend. Simple as that.

I look for someone who's just generally similar to me.
Similar sense of humor, similar tastes, etc.

And it's what I've found. I swear my boyfriend and I are the same person sometimes.... XD The more time we spend together, the more alike we become.

Like, he loves the sex pistols and I hate them, he likes a room to feel cozy, and I like it to feel clean, he likes volvos and I prefer Audis.... Etc. But they're all really small differences.

He just has to be compassionate, funny, not into drugs, loyal, have a job (or in school) and be decent when handling money.

If he was a gamer, taller than me and liked my family that would be a plus.

Lucky for my bf has all of those qualities and a lot of extra's that I never thought a guy around my area would have.

I just want somebody that's willing to be there for me. Somebody that I know won't cheat or dump me in no time flat. And they need to be kind and preferably be able to deal with my psychotic sense of humor. So, basically, committed, nice, and funny.

I like guys that don't have to like the same stuff I like but just because I like them he would considerd likeing it too and when I asked if he would cosplay with me he would consider it because I loved it so muhc (mwahahahah >.>) oh and some what on the plain side were people think he is normal but when your alone with them they show there true self so kinda mysterious

my dream guy has long hair, is tall(er than me lol), older, a bit feminine, but you can still tell hes a guy, lean (not super muscular or skinny), a gentleman who respects me, is fun, loving, sort of adorable, smart, has an appreciation for art (of any sort) and doesn't mind me staying up late to play video games or draw lol. I don't have a specific preferance to race (even though I seem to find more asians with a lot of the qualities I like =3). Specific colors don't matter either, but I L:heart:VE eyes.

I'm just surprised that some people get into detail about what their "dream significant other" would be like. All the way down from personality to looks and character traits.

I had a friend who had all these specifications, and the only men that could fit those criteria were the ones she made up in her drawings or read about in graphic novels. In the end, she settled for a hockey player with blue eyes. Now, her fetish seems to be dark hair, blue eyes, and hockey. I guess you sort of develop as you go when it doesn't all work out.

Personally, I never had a dream creation for a spouse. I've always been attracted to aesthetics, but never considered actually being with someone. In the end, I guess love just grabs you and now, like the song, I don't see what anyone can see in anyone else.

I love nerds. And people with the same morals and values as me

For either gender, they must have a sense of humour, be considerate and kind, be loving and gentle. Looks don't matter as much, but I am fond of dark hair and blue eyes.
