I get very good grades (except in math because I'm careless). I always try to help people when they come to me for help. Even if I don't know the answer to their question, I try to direct them to someone that can. I normally wind up spending a lot of my time on other people instead of myself, but I feel really bad when people don't get things because I can't or won't explain it (and it slows down the class effecting my education).

Needless to say, I HATE FINAL EXAMS! I have my own to study for, which I'm fine with, since all of my teachers are trying to make things easier for us. Some showed us the test, others gave us huge study guides, one even made the final the same as our last 2 quizzes put on the same paper.

But everyone comes to ME to help them. If it was one or two people, I'd help, but I can't help my entire science class study for a final while my friends are pestering me too.

I had one friend call me today and ask what was on the social studies final (since I took it already and she doesn't have her final with the same teacher until tommorow). I told her what was on it. She proceeded to argue with me that no, there was nothing about amendments on the final. When I told her it had been on the board for the last week with a list of the 10 we had to know, she argued that too. Then she complained about how she could never learn them since we never did in class. We did, and we got a packet on it, too (and I know she got one, because she whined about how fat it was when we got it). Eventually I just hung up, she got on my nerves so much!

EVERYONE asks me to quiz them on whatever they're studying. It's so annoying. I'd like to do well on my finals, too, thank you. I'm not going to fail because you don't know how to graph a parabola or factor trinomials.

Anyone else go through this?

Everyone i know expects me to help them on all their school work all the time.Except for people who consider me dumber than them or people who are just wayy too nice to ask.It annoys me so much i either end up ignoring everyone or blowing up on someone.Its terrible but it gets me really angry.I have work to do and i`m not just going to help them out so we can all get A`s or B+`s..its not my job to teach them.Its their grades and their life.Plus they have teachers to help them out at school as well,or the internet,or those things with pages called books.I do help people sometimes but when they start bugging me i don`t help anyone.I just dislike dealing with it.

Oh man. I use to help people out in High School. Like them them barrow stuff from me. After awhile I came up with if they didn't bring it back I was never to lend them anything or if they broke it I would never barrow to them again. There was one guy I let barrow my FAVORITE head phones, and these I couldn't get anymore. I got them back broken. I was so mad. >_<;

omgitsme, I agree 100%. I'm struggling right now to be prepared for my own (supposedly very difficult) science final (I might have a 100 for the year in that class, I'm not sure, and if I do I don't want to blow it with a final exam). I don't have time to help someone pass math (besides, the general/basic math test is supposedly insanely easy...damn advanced class).

AlkseeyaKC-I hate when people do that. It's so rude. If you borrow something, you should -always- either return it in the same condition you got it, or pay for it and apologize.

Yeah this guy didn't do anything about it. I should have made him pay for it or something. But I was a weakling in high school. XD

Times like this make me glad that most of my friends are in honors, and thus need not go to me for help.

But I do hate it when I would ask a classmate for help on a specific chapter of whatever we're studying, and they would reply with, "Oh, sorry, I don't get it either." and then next day they fucking ace the test.

I'm lucky I never had this issue... by the time of my final exams I had all different friends helping me :D
I didn't go to the same person though, many of my friends were top in some classes so I went to different friends based on what they were good at :P

You should really just stop "helping" everyone. They've got to think for themselves, especially when a teacher gives out an entire packet of information that will be directly on the test. I haven't had finals in years; finished early and just ended up doing the same thing.
I made copies and was an unpaid teacher's assistant for the last three years of highschool. The people that go through those classes just being completely oblivious to everything is absurd.

There was a little quiz once, where the answers were actually on the board and nearly everyone failed. They were that retarded.

With grade inflation, those who aren't as gifted as you are will achieve the same A, but they just piggybacked. Work on your own, it'll pay off. It really will.

Yeah I hate final exams too! They don't even make any sense to me and i mean like yes they do help you on your grade, true but then again people don't go to school and it's all jacked up and everything ya know? Like omigawsh I reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllly HATE! final examz!!!!!

I help people alot with other stuff sometimes at skool but not alot of the time since I'm not smart enough to help them without just getting mad and doing it for them DX
