Bizarre, isn't it?
There's a theory that everything we're experiencing has already happened. Either we've died and this is the flash, or we're just on some sort of circling track and we keep repeating ourselves.
I had a French professor who had dreams of war and great battles when she was very little, and everyone spoke in French (she didn't know the language at the time, but knew small phrases). She found out later that she was related to Napoleon Bonaparte. It's just curious what dreams can tell.

I also have dreams with deja vu that follows. It's always a small clip though, just a little flash. Something like putting my hand on the wall, or seeing a particular font on a piece of paper. And then later on, maybe a week or a month later, I'll see that very same thing again, but this time it's in person, or rather, a conscious state.
I don't know about bad days giving me bad dreams; I don't dream as often as I do when I was younger. They're more...symbolic now, I guess. I really enjoy those ones where you can fly. It's fantastic, that feeling of weightlessness. If I wasn't so poorly educated in numbers, I'd become an astronaut just for that very reason; being able to float freely in space.

Wow what an interesting dream~! And even more so how accurate it was! I think sometimes we are used as vessels to connect to the other side from their plain to this one. I believe if it is a message of peace and closure, it should be shared. It's a way to let us know that there is life after death, and that we don't simply die.. just change form. Maybe we become a mighty spirit like the wind, or maybe as pure and gentle as the rain... maybe we go to the place we only dream of.. if one believes in a Heaven... maybe... just maybe. I often scare people with my dreams. Not because they always signal death, most don't, but because of things that take place in the world that DO come true and that is what scares them. It especially scares them when I am not dreaming.. and even if we live in two different states or countries.. I can identify things in their room even without ever being there. Dolls, wallpaper, trinkets..etc. I even knew when certain relatives died at that exact moment of their passing. ... .... I can often finish my friends' and families' sentences, and I am pretty good at lots of other bizarre things. You know.. seeing things people generally overlook? Especially in photos. ^^; My life is so odd! lol. I don't know why it happens, but I am hoping that is for the good of humanity... I want to embrace such things, but I am afraid to. Anyways, this is an awesome topic and what a beautiful message to receive. Thank you so much for sharing with us. :3

I saw my fiance in my dreams weeks before I even met him for the first time owo (the dreams were in summer of 2003, but I met him that August)
Like one of the earlier posters on the first page, alot of my deja vu comes from my dreams.
The most distinct one I remember was having a tray of sugar cookies with strawberry jam or something like that on them and I was sitting there eating them one by one. Then a week later my dad came home with sugar cookies with strawberry jam on it and I found myself doing the same thing I did in my dream.
My highschool art teacher was telling us how she had this dream that she was in the passenger seat riding with her friend who had a small yellow car and they got in a crazy car accident and she felt something impale her in her chest and she could feel the life drain out of her.
Then a few days later the friend in her dream asked if she wanted to go with them somewhere and she remembered the dream and decided to stay home and later found out that they got in a crazy car accident and there was a big pipe going through the passenger seat where my art teacher would have been sitting if she went with them.

Was the guy's name Jack by any chance? Did he have black hair and grey eyes? And did one of the girls have blonde hair?

I have prophetic dreams every now and then. I'll dream about a test, going over the test ((has helped me pass several tests....does that count as cheating?)), about meeting someone, ect. Nothing ever major, just little things. ^^
I've been having these wierd dreams though, with the same people, but different situations. (Not anyone I know or have met in real life) In one of them, a woman scratched my arm with her nails and when I woke up, I had four scratches down the length of my arm. (And I couldn't have caused it; I don't have enough fingernail to cause a scratch).

Mann, if I listened to my dreams as prophecies, and tried to carry them out or something, I'd be in a totally different position right now.
But nah, never really had a prophetic dream. Closest i've come to is winning states in my dream, then doin it a month later.

...I've always thought that dreams were just crap.
Then again, I have dreams that are hardly prophetic.
Mine are completely random, and occasionally I can pick out an element or two that is sensible (usually something that happened recently) but it's thrown in with so much crap it's crazy.
I used to lucid dream all the time as well. I can't do it anymore, but when I was younger I did it all the time. I didn't even realize that it was rare until very recently... I thought everyone could do it.

Lucid dreams are hard to achieve! D: I would have to eat a long bar [the lenght of my hand*lenght of middle finger] of chocolate to be conscient enough when dreaming xP Which has happened 3 times :3 I want a lucid dream now... but there's no more chocolate ;_;''

most of my Dae-ja-vou (sp?) comes from my dreams most definately. Eesh, that's really annoying for me because of the fact being i get easily distracted in life and go on a tangent about why all of what's going on feels so familiar.

I used to have prophetic dreams relating to my past relationships.
Before I started dating my first boyfriend, I had a dream with a man in it. I don't remember anything except for the man, who was very lithe and androgynous. He kissed me very violently and said something like, "Don't let him use you". That boyfriend turned out to stalk me after I broke up with him a couple of months later.
Before I dated my next boyfriend, I had a dream with the same man. He kissed me with no passion and said something like, "Don't let him ignore you". After a very boring relationship in which that boyfriend only wanted to be with me when it was convenient for him, I broke up with him.
Next, before I dated my last boyfriend, I had a dream with the same man. He kissed me very passionately, and said "Don't confuse this for anything else". I dated that boyfriend for almost two years, thought he was the "one", but then broke up with him because it really wasn't working out.
So, that dream man managed to predict what would happen in all of my previous relationships, though I didn't have a dream like that before I started dating my current boyfriend.
I have had a few other dreams in which I predict something, but I think these dreams were the most accurate. However, I think I also knew all along that these various men weren't right for me, and that showed up in my dreams.
(Sorry for the super long post, I've just never shared this before and wanted to go into detail).

All of my DeJa Vu usually comes from my dreams too.
Back in December of 2006 I had an odd dream where my cousin Chey had come over. I talked to her for a bit, and she followed me to the bathroom where I changed the cat's water bowl. She then took my hand, looked into my eyes, and told me that she was pregnant.
I woke up, and later that night I called her. We talked for a while, and I asked her if she was pregnant. She asked why, and I described the dream to her. She admitted that yes, she was, and found out that day.
No more than two months later, I had a dream where she miscarried...She called me laster that night, and told me that she had miscarried due to stress...

Well, you know how people say, i'd hate to drown, i'd hate to die in a fire.
Well, they usually imagine how horrid it would be. I can actually remember how it feels.
I think i was burned as a witch, but i wasn't a witch, i was someone who could help people with their illnesses, like giving them specific herbs and stuff?

I've had dreams of my house flooding, and the very next day we had a terrible storm that flooded our basement terribly.
I saw my cousin giving birth in a dream, and in the morning found out she had my baby cousin. ^_^
I've also seen and talked with people that I've never met before, in great detail.
My one friend has had very detailed dreams about things that end up happening within the next few weeks afterwards. It's nothing new for me to have odd experiences that end up adding up to something.
You do have to be careful, though, that the dream isn't so vague that it can be interpreted in many different ways.
