Dreams where it is like school... Those are so realistic. And then I come in and I'm like... wait... did that happen or was that a dream....

Cherry Who? 06-16-2008 05:48 PM

Sagitar - Oh, well, I do live in the US, so maybe -hopefully- it's different here.
I'm sorry you couldn't have it done, though.

Yue - I bet that's frustrating.
Especially if you dream up a lesson. o_o

Sagitar 06-16-2008 07:05 PM

yeah.. it's just that doctors think young people might change their opinion later when they are older. that's why they don't give those (although they can be un-tied!).

have you asked about it yet from your doctor?

Cherry Who? 06-16-2008 07:12 PM

Yeah, exactly. It can be undone. >.< And it's not like this is a spur-of-the-moment decision. All my life I've known that I didn't want to give birth.
And I would make a really horrible mother. o_o I'm much too selfish. If any doctor tries to tell me I shouldn't have this done, then HE can just take care of the kid. XD

And no, I haven't. I don't have a doctor. ._ .

Sagitar 06-16-2008 07:15 PM

I know.. same with me. I have never ever wanted to have children, I've never even babysitted anyone! I don't like children that much..
If I want a baby sometime, I will adopt them if I can. I wont give birth. >.>

buut I guess I have to wait until I'm 30 or something until I can get me tied up.. D:

Immortaleyes 06-16-2008 07:38 PM

It seems that I dream stuff before it happens, then I'm all confused saying "This has happened before, I'm sure of it." It's kind of creepy having that deja vu feeling.
Though...what's weirder is me always dreaming about myself with a different body...at first I would get up and stare in the mirror and then be disappointed when my body didn't look anything like how I had dreamed it.
Silly mind.

Cherry Who? 06-16-2008 08:49 PM

Yeah. It's our OWN problem if we make a decision we regret later (like becoming infertile). It's not the doctor's problem! Or business!
If it doesn't hurt us or put us in any danger, and we're of sound mind and reasonable age, there's no good reason to deny us infertility. >.<
What are you using in the mean time? The Pill?

Immortal - Whoa, that's weird.
Hmm. Do you have body issues or something?

Sagitar 06-16-2008 10:13 PM

well actually, surgerys can always go wrong so yeah we would be in danger.. xP and I bet it hurts a bit.

I was usind evra patches ( I don't trust myself with pills. I wouldn't remember to take them every day.) but I got some problems with it after using it for so long (rash, tickling, not working right anymore) so I'm starting to use nuva ring. :3

Cherry Who? 06-17-2008 01:31 AM

Hmm, true... But not TONS of danger.

Yeah, I'd never remember to take the pill every day, either.
And plus, I can't swallow pills. >.< I can occasionally swallow a very small one, like an aspirin, but normally I have to take liquid or chewable things. (They make them for adults now)
I only swallow a pill if I absolutely have to. Like if I have a bad migraine and have no access to my own aspirins.
Plus, I don't trust hormone-based contraceptives just yet....

xD
This just happened to me awhile ago. Me and my one friend were eating lunch, and I remembered what was a dream about her apologizing to me sincerely on Facebook. I had to ask her if she really did that, or if it was just a dream. She gave me the weirdest look, and I felt a little crazy for a bit.

I always, always, always have dreams about school during the summer. I can't get away from it! :gonk:

But I must say I've never mistaken a dream for reality. Most likely because my dreams are so off the wall.

Ooh, have you had those dreams where you have to get to a class, but you don't know where it is? Or you can't open up your locker? xD

I used to get those all the time right before I went into middle school. Those just sucked.

I know, so frustrating. I would always feel so silly waking up.

Vickicat 06-18-2008 01:57 AM

Dreams.

Well, I'm not sure if this is exactly the same sort of thing, but a lot of times I have dreamed that I've woken up and started getting dressed. Like, the alarm will go off or someone will come in and wake me up, and then leave, thinking I'll get up, and I sort of fall back asleep. But I dream that I'm getting up and getting ready and then when my mom comes back in my room and yells at me for not waking up, I wake up in confusion. This happened a few times when I was in high school. It was awful. And then there was a really weird thing I did. This was... I'm not sure, maybe a little over a year ago. I can't remember exactly when but it wasn't too long ago. One semester I had to take an 8:00 AM class because it was the only time I could take that particular class. Now that I'm in college I normally pick afternoon and night classes because I hate waking up in the morning. But that one was only offered then. Or it might not have even been that class, it might have been one that started later but I had to wake up before noon to get to. I'm just terrible about waking up. So either way, one time, in my sleep, before the alarm even went off I think, I reached over and turned the alarm off. I have no remembrance of doing this at all. I don't think I even dreamed doing it, I just did it. So when I woke up later and saw that I was late for class and that class was starting in a few minutes, I was confused and in a panic. I thought my mom had forgot to set my alarm the night before since she usually does that so I won't forget, but when I called her she said she had. So the only conclusion we could come top was that I turned it off in my sleep. Ever since then my alarm has been put in a place where I physically have to get up and walk over and turn it off. So as long as I don't start sleepwalking, I shouldn't have anymore alarm problems. XD Oh, and when this happened, I hurried up and got dressed and rushed to class, only to find that it was canceled and everyone was leaving. The AC in the building had broke. At least I didn't get in trouble.

My boyfriend plans on getting a vasectomy.... Neither of us want kids. :headdesk: I don't want to give birth to one, I don't want to pregnant with one, and I certainly don't want to care for it for eighteen years. The pill? HA. Someone that I work with used the pill and still got pregnant. XP Here's to hoping that we don't have to wait until we're thirty or forty....

As far as those dreams go, yeah--I've had them. Sucks when it's about making up with someone or getting some closure. Then you wake up and realize it wasn't real. And on a more whimsical note--I heard a beautiful song in a dream once. Couldn't remember it when I woke up. :o

@Vickicat: Ha! I've had those waking-up dreams before, too. I always get a little annoyed; "I've been DREAMING about being awake and now I have to do it.... There's some unfairness in here somewhere."

Sheika 06-18-2008 09:32 AM

You guys too, huh? >_<;

I'm always having odd dreams. Last month, I think it was...es, last month, I received a letter from social security, and they had sent me a nice, big check. Well, that day, I couldn't cash it...I was pretty pissed off, naturally.

So, I went to bed, and had this awesome dream that I cashed it, and went to the mall with my cousin! It was amazing! I got these really neat shoes, and some awesome clothes...And a HUGE calico kitty plushie!!! I woke up, looking for the plushie, and cried...Because I realized it was just a dream... ;-;

I've also had the dream where I went on a huge shopping spree buying all kinds of plushies and such. Again, waking up to see that they weren't there, and crying my eyes out... ;-;

Probably the worst one I had, was where I dreamed my beloved little calico kitty had died. I cried, even in my sleep. I woke up to see that she was on my bed with me, and clung to her.

I really hate dreams like that... >_<;

psyrien 06-18-2008 10:40 AM

I always dream that I've woken up and gone through the long and hideous process of becoming conscious and presentable to the world. ...Then I wake up and find that it was just a dream. TT.TT

...It was the worst when I dreamt that I already took my match test. I woke up and I complained to alarm clock that it needed to shut up because it was wrong and I had taken the test already. ...Yeah. I hate dreams like those. -.-
