Your favorite incense? Oils, sticks, or cones?
So, do you enjoy incense? I do. I love them. My favorites are the oils and the cones. As for scents I thoroughly enjoy Dragon's Blood, Fizzy Pop, Cucumber Melon, Love Spell by Victoria's Secret, Apple Cinnamon, and Cinnamon. ^^
I have a cute little dolphin and lighthouse oil burner. I have some Dragon's Blood in right now. ^^ I don't use the ones with the tea lights, since I have cats. Candles + cats = BAD. So, it just uses a little light bulb, and you can control the strength of the scent with it. ^^ |
I prefer the sticks. I've never used the others. XD
But sticks are nice and easy. Just light the tip, blow it out, and you're good to go. Just pop it into the holder or wave it around, or stick it in something with a tiny hole. ;0 I love sandalwood. (Even though it's "funeral incense" apparently.. :0) Rose is good too.. mm... And Jasmine. BEST SCENT EVER. Haha. I seem to enjoy more "traditional" scents, I guess. I didn't know Vicky's had incense! ;0 Aww, that sounds cute. I just have the plain wood plank-like burner/holderthingy. I have a box one too. That has holes, and you stick the stick inside? :3 I like that one. |
Oooh, yes! Jasmine, Sandalwood, and Rose. <3 I totally forgot about those. lol
and yeah, apparently they do. It could just be their perfume made into an incense, but either way, it smells AMAZING. Kinda fruity and girly, without being too...girly. Does that make any sense? XD I wish I could find some of the oils in fizzy pop. I loooove that stuff. Favorite scent in the entire world, next to Dragon's Blood, and my fiance when he puts on axe. lol Which brings me to an even more interesting idea. Axe incense. they'd make a fortune! I'd buy a million bottles of the oil, or cones in Essence. Mmm. I can almost smell it now. Perfect for guys who want a nice smelling home, and those who don't like the traditional fragrances. And I wouldn't have to use my fiance's body spray as an air freshener anymore when he's gone, either. XD |
I adore lavender. Oils, sticks, cones-whatever. I always have some sort of lavender anything burning.

Not really into the fruity scents actually. No offense, but I hope no one comes up with Axe incense. It makes me gag, and I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to it since if my skin comes in contact for more than a minute I get really itchy and possible hives.
I once went into a shop that sold a lot of American Indian jewelry, rugs, things, etc. and this incense was burning that smelled like campfire. I was so good, and it reminded me of summer camping trips. Now if only I could remember what it was called! |

I got some pretty good sticks from England when I went back in 2006. I don't remember exactly what it was called, but they smelled almost like the beach, with a hint of some sort of flowers. It was amazing... <3 and the best French vanilla sticks I'd ever gotten came from the same store. I still have my Dragon's Blood going, too. lol My mom isn't really big on most of the stuff I like, but she commented that the Dragon's Blood smelt amazing. I was pretty shocked. =) |
Satya is my favorite scent. It's imported from India and has a creamy, smoky vanilla sort of scent. It's strong but not overpowering, and is very calming and relaxing. I'm burning it at the moment to relieve some stress.
And Axe incense? If someone was burning that I'd have to wear a facemask to be in their house. Axe is nasty enough on its own. (and this is coming from a male) |
I have some Frankinsence and Myrrh stick incense. It's got such a wonderful, smoky scent to it. Slightly sweet, and subtle.

I have a little scent paper thing for Love Spell and I think I am going to buy that. I have never used incense but my grandma sometimes has this one kind that I do not like. That's because at the beach we go to there is a very creepy store that uses the same incense.

I love fizzy pop. I tend to like anything that has a light scent to it or that smells like vanillia. I like sticks and cones best, but I don't burn them as often any more because I have birds and you're not supposed to burn candles or incenses around them since they're sensitive to the scents and the smoke.

I use oil diffusers. Fox Craft oils are the best, in my opinion. I use the Vanilla, Lavender, Nag Champa, and Sandalwood.

I love incense, although I haven't used any in a LONG while. I love fruity scents, as well as rose, lilac and lavender. Jasmine's alright...Musk and Sandalwood are WAY to strong for me. Really strong scents give me a headache.:(

I LOVE incense. I think I'm addicted to it because I always wanna buy more even if I have a full supply. I love sticks and oils best, the cones don't last long enough it seems. It's to bad though, I can't use incense much because I have to keep my window open most of the time, the AC doesn't work here and my room gets to be the hottest in the house...so it kinda sucks that I have all this incense and can't really use it :sweat:

I like all kinds of incense. I can even go so far that I could call myself an incense junkie. But it's hard to come by incense cones where I live, and I find oil too messy. So sticks are the way to go for me. Currently, I have some opium-scented sticks I burn once a week.

Don't you love going to Bed Bath and Beyond to see all the awesome candles there and sniff each and every one? It's fun for me. (Or you could go somewhere else, although I don't go there very often) Candles are cool. ^-^ I've never ever in my life have heard of cones. (as in, candles, above) I'm not very smart >.> |

I love incense. I used to have a lot just because I collected a dozen different scents.
But now I don't have many since I moved. I actually burn Dhoop Sticks most of the time now. They smell wonderful! And they make the whole first floor of my house smell good. Though it can be a slightly overpowering smell if your not used to it, or just plain don't like it. Other then that, I like sticks; I used to have rose scented and a really nice coconut scent too. I used to buy a lot of incense from the Heritage down by the beach where I used to live. Need to find a new place to buy some good smelling incense. *nod* |
I love incense. My parents always get mad cause the whole upstairs area smells like whatever I decide to burn. I ussualy use stick because it's all I have, my parents won't buy me liquid incense burners :(
