I cut my self in the ear with a piece of cardboard during a scene change once...That hurt after the adrenalin of the change was over. But working in a Theatre gives me the chance to see a high number of odd injuries. I had a girl several nights back break her nail on another guys foot, and way back I had a kid get hit by a set piece (we are talking an 8ft box on wheels... his poor foot stood no chance.)

I don't know about. Cuts and things just show up on me! lol I get cuts on paper, cardboard, cans, everything! lol But! I haven't broken and spranged anything! So, that's good.:sarcasm:

The worst injury I ever had was from a tick.
When I was in second grade, I lived in northeastern New Mexico. Anybody who knows the area can tell you, it's crawling with all sorts of bugs. My ear had been hurting for several days, but no one thought anything about it. About a week after it started hurting, my mom put some warm oil in my ear to make it feel better. The next day, I felt a bump in my ear. My mom took one look in my ear and screamed. The tick had swollen so large it couldn't get out of my ear. The warm oil had made it let go. We went to the doctor first thing in the morning (the nearest emergency room was 80 miles away). The doctor told me that the tick had embedded on my ear drum and had almost worked its way through to my brain. If it had burrowed an eighth of an inch further it would have been on my brain. To this day, I can't hear very well in that ear. Go figure... |
xD
I once cut my mouth with a corn chip....but maybe people do that often? I've also cut my mouth with a shard of ice... Once I as cleaning trash in the yard, and I grabbed this plastic bag lying on the ground an it had a bunch of cactus needles in it...OWWW. xDD That's about it, nothing too fancy. Though, I do know of a singer I listen to, he supposedly once TRIPPED over a balloon and fell down. xDDD How do you trip over a balloon? That's the weirdest injury I've heard of, though it wasn't mine...I tried to recreate it once, the balloon bounced away. <3DarrenHayes the Kultzz! |
I get little cuts and scrapes from work at taco bell >_>... we're also pizza hut express so we have personal pan pizzas and breadsticks and I've cut myself a couple times on pizza and breadstick boxes XD
I've also sliced myself with scissors and a box cutter XD... and a lot of the time after I do dishes my fingers have knicks and cuts where skin comes off but doesn't bleed... (I'm still talking about at work)... oh and I've cut myself with a corner of a crunchwrap foil bag XD... you'd be surprised by what you can get cut by ... and I can't really think of being injured by weird objects anywhere else because that's where I get most of my cuts, scrapes, burns, and bruises ... :sarcasm: ... -__- |
I don't get cut by unusual things, but I'm super clutzy. I run into tables and stuff. I poke myself with knifes while I'm making food or washing dishes. It seems I have no sense of self preservation T_T

Well lets see oddity injuries.
Well I accidently stabed myself in the hand with a pencil. You can still see a tiny piece of lead under the skin. My sister threw a coloring book at me and hit me right in the corner of my eye. Tore something in there and I had to wear a patch for weeks. My sister later threw a Tamagotchi at me [you remember thoes virtual pet keychains right?] and dead centered my right testical. Couldn't move for 10 minutes. Humm most of my odd injuries are sister related >.> |
One time when I was about 8 years old I was playing a game with my friends and was sliding on my back on our 70 year old church floor, and I ended up with a two peice, two and a half inch wide splinter, IT HURT LIKE CRAZY! My mom got out one of the peices with twiezers and it had looked like there was only one peice, but then we found out there were two peices, and that I was gonna have to have surgery to get it removed, but because I had a pool in my backyard, and It was summer and I had been swimming almost everyday, it loosended it up and it FINNALLY came out without surgery (THANK GOD!) it was terrible.

Burned by a frying pan.
On the chin. |
I got pretty banged up from jumping on the the stage in the auditorium in my school because a bunch of the tiles had been ripped off and there were sharp edges
|
ive cut my hand on my fridge, a mustard bottle took a chunk out of my finger once..... and once someone poked me in the eye with a paint brush, that one hurt like you wouldnt even belive........
|
I got cut on a coconut by trying to crack it open the rest of the way :D Sliced the palm of my hand lol. Evil little buggers D<
|
I cut myself on that metal tape used for like the hose thingy on the back of the dryer.
|
I cut a huge gash in my arm from a /chair/. D:
Also from a plastic box...cardboard box...boxy boxy...all kinds of the box variety. D: Sandbox...etc...D: |
I once sliced my big toe with my closet door. Stupid moving metal/glass door. ):
|
I can always be counted on to cut myself on a cardboard box. It doesn't matter: if I use a knife or scissors to cut the tape, open the box nice and slow, take the contents out as the designer intended, somewhere in the ruckus I will have managed to slice myself open on the cardboard. Imagine a paper cut, but on a larger scale.
The worst part is that sound that paper/cardboard makes when you get cut with it. It's worse than nails on a chalkboard. |

I just about the biggest clutz cause I'll cut myself on the oddest things in the oddest ways and everyones like "How the heck did you do that?" Like bumping into pencil sharpeners or running and hitting into a park bench square into my calfs and getting bruises on my hips. But I always do 2 things the most, 1: Hit my head on tons of thing like the cabinet in the bathroom, the tables, chairs, doors, walls. just about anything possiable ive hit my head on it. 2: The door to my dishwasher I always scarp my leg on the corner of it. Every time I do the dishes. Oh and my bike it like to scratch me alot too. I once got my foot stuck under the door at my church i used to go to it now is a big scar. I got my finger stuck between my windows (that hurt) so ya i'm just a huge kutz. :P |
I once fell off a pavement chacing my friend who was riding my bike, she had dropped her purse. The result, I broke my right arm.
About a year later, my friend fell over in the middle of a road (not a major road luckily, it was on a quiet street) So I ran over to amke sure she was alright, I didn't see her foot stuck out to one side and fell over it. That time I broke my left arm. |
I once impaled my finger on a part of a clarinet. It went straight through.
Thats a funny injury. XP |
I gave myself first degree burns...from a bowl of noodles. That's got to be the oddest for me.
|
I got cut by a Dorito once...
I'm not sure how it worked, but.. it did. It wasn't even sharp; it was just a normal, dull chip.. |
I got a piece of a beer bottle in my foot. One of the bottles fell on the floor and broke the night before, and I had no idea, because I wasn't one of the people drinking them, so then I was walking barefoot and a stray piece stuck into my heel. It hurt worse when my mom was tweezing it out than it hurt getting stuck in there. Owie. It still makes me cringe thinking about it. DX |
Oh gosh yes. I have massive bruising from the cash register where I work. I'm basically stuck in the 3' by 3' box, and I'm very accident prone.
I was in a grocery store the other day and I cut myself on a jug of water. D= |
