I used to have a few uncommon animals. I had over fifty-five animals. I'm down to about twelve now though... Anyway, my momst uncommon would be my Tokay at the moment. The second would be my chiwiener(chihuahua and dotson mix), and then my two little minx cat's, and their sister. The two minx cat's have a sister, who has half a tail that's shaped like a quetion mark.

I love chinchillas. Unfortunately, I have nowhere to put one, so I can't buy one as they require some space.

Do you give yours the dust "baths"? I've always thought that was kind of cool.

I used to have some hermit crabs, but that's about as exotic as my pets have ever been. lol
(for anyone who thinks they want hermit crabs: You don't. Don't get them, because it's the biggest waste of money EVER)

I give mine dust baths. ^^ Aww. Hermit crabs look kind of cool. I wouldn't want one though. I don't think.

I love chinchillas, they're so cute, even if they do smell funny.
With my cat, I don't think I could have one, but they're awfully cool.

Edit: Oh man, it's actually really sad that hermit crabs are sold as pets. They're really social creatures that need to live in groups, and they require a lot more work than they're advertised as needing. A lot of them end up dying because pet stores don't give the new pet owner the right information.

I've never seen or heard of anyone having a chinchilla in Australia, so I guess you can't get them here. But I love animals, especially those of the furry variety! I saw a chinchilla on an American TV show about pet keeping and ever since I've really wanted one. So cute!

I only just recently discovered the existence of chinchillas, but I think they're totally adorable. I really wanted one for a while, but I've never actually met one in person, and I was talking to my sister about them recently, and it seems like they are high-maintenance pets. I like really easy pets, like cats, so I think chinchillas are off my list.

They look like they're just waiting to be genetically engineered into pikachus though. :D

They're not that high maintenance, but they do need a lot of things.

I'd rather have one than a cat, because I can't stand the smell of a litter box.

And they don't smell. If you don't clean their cage for a while, it will smell. But they don't have an odor other than that.

I have a cat and a hamster. My hamster is always getting new toys, but my cat doesn't like to play, so I don't buy her lots of stuff. I keep looking at the guinea pigs at pet stores, but doubt I will get one. My apartment is stinky enough with just the one hamster.

I love those~

The most exotic pet I've had has been an iguana.
Only for two days though. It got lost soon.
(I was just a little kid >>)

I'm pretty sure those are illegal here though.
I've never met anyone with them.
We can't even have ferrets here.
