I wouldn't mind a skunk if they were de-scented. That's awesome. I wonder how they act too.

I couldn't. D: I have to many pets...and my mom is already annoyed by the shedding season. xD

Make sure you find ways to play with him, though. ^^ That way he'll
bond with you! =D And then he'll love you back. :] That's how bunnies are....but I'm sure chinchillas can do that too. ^^

Plus my mom doesn't think they're attractive T---T
But when I go to the pet stores I play with the ones in the cages xDDD
I have no unusual animal, just 2 dogs, a Malti-Poo (Kiki) and Pomerainian (Caramel)

I've only heard of the name, but I don't even know what the heck they are? Is it a sort of mouse or something? ...or bunny? lmao, I really don't know. I should be smart and look it up. I don't really know much about the more rarer pets. But anyways, it looks cute! :>

Ive had two pet chinchillas. One actually managed to get outside and escaped from us :( I dont know though, the ones I had werent particularly nice but they were both given to us from friends.

Aww. :( I'm sorry. Mine is friendly. They're not cuddly animals, but they're fun to watch. They do have their own personalities.

@ Jennifer: They're not related to rabbits or mice... they're their own species. I'd say google it if you really want the full scoop. :yes: They come from South America. they're so soft.

:XD Hehehe. My bf once told me (before he really knew what they were) that he thought chinchilla was either a place, or a type of food. xDD I corrected him and now he thinks they're pretty cute. Compares them to rabbits/other animals like that a lot though, because of their size/shape.

Yeah. Now he and his brother think they look like.. What was it.. Rabbits with Down Syndrome. >_> *shoots them both* :XD Or I'll just kick them in the knee.

He is so cute. I have never owned a chinchilla, but I just got a hamster. The hamster is the first rodent pet I have ever had. Except we had a rat once, my mother sister and I saved it from being snake food. It bit. One day it bit my dad, and then it was snake food again. I was sad, but as I had already been bit by it, there was no way I was going to try and feed it. As my father was the one feeding it and cleaning up after it, well, when the little guy bit him, he signed his own death warrant.

Sometimes small rodents, even hamsters, show affection through biting or nibbling. :'D I know that's true for chinchillas, but I think it's also true for hamsters. owo *could be wrong*

My chinchilla nibbles, but he never hurts me. He likes to nibble on things. That's why I named him Nibbler. xD
