Nope, but my fiance does all the time. It's amusing.

The only time I can think of right now was when I was riding the late bus home after staying after school for Anime Club. I was sitting in the 8th seat, my friend was sitting in the 10th or 11th seat, and these two obnoxious girls were sitting right behind me. They had been annoying and picking on anyone they possibly could (one of them, the blonde one I think it was, wasn't so bad, she even asked her friend why they were being so mean. The other one, the brunette, said "because I can and it's fun).
Most of the people were ignoring them, except for my friend at one point, and the middle schooler that was sitting with him. I was just sitting there, listening to my music, when I hear the brunette ask me from behind "are you a guy or a girl? I think it's a guy, but I can't tell". I had just gotten my hair cut from being down my back, to just a little above my shoulders. Not to mention, I am a bit over weight, but it's not too bad, and from behind I guess it was easy to miss my next point. I just happen to be pretty "well endowed" (more like "heavily burdened"), so when she asked me, I just turned off my music, turned in my seat so my legs were in the aisle, facing her friend who was sitting across from me, looked down at my chest, looked at the blond and asked lowly, "She's got to be kidding me" with a completely straight face. The blond started laughing and basically yelled to her friend "She's a GIRL!".
That's the only time I can remember ever getting mistaken for a boy =3

Sikurri 08-06-2008 07:48 PM

Wow. That must suck a lot Dx I would be like "Wtf" if someone called me a boy. I'll smack them.
I never got mistaken as a boy, but one of my friend actually likes being called a boy, and wants to have a sex change in the future. Her name is Andrea, so she likes people calling her "Robert". It's like, her favourite name : \

She gets called "Andrew" a lot though;; I don't know if it's by mistake or... yah >W>; She had this dog tag from music camp or something, it said Andrew on it. Lol;

raganaite 08-06-2008 07:54 PM

i have met a little girl, who really look like a boy. she has a short hair, her clothes are like other boys'. trousers and no dresses or skirts. and she behave like a boy, loves fighting. i was "omg" when they told me that she is a girl o.o

StrawberryRose13 08-06-2008 07:54 PM

Nope, can't say I have ever been mistaken for a boy. :3 But I have been mistaken for being of a different race when I was younger, and for being other people. oO

ryuugitsune 08-06-2008 08:13 PM

When i was a kid i probably could have passed for my brothers twin if i wasn't so girly. Long hair, purple clothes... :P

and now? eh. not even if i tried. its the hips, i'm just to curvy to be mistaken for a boy.

though, my brother gets mistaken for a girl on the phone a lot... :D

[L]ady_[L]uck 08-06-2008 08:22 PM

Uh....I don't think I have. lol It would be hard to mistake me for a dude....with the boobs and the butt....that would be hard to miss. >.<

Emrysa 08-06-2008 08:28 PM

I'm tall and have a solid build. (Father's side of the family.)
So when I used to have a pixi cut sometimes people who'd walk up behind me would mistake more for a guy with my short hair.

MacSen191 08-06-2008 11:53 PM

When I was in middle school I had short hair, I was flat and what little I did have you couldn't tell because my grandma wouldn't let me wear a training bra, and I liked wearing button up silk shirts... we were having a answerathon in math class and my teacher pointed at me and said you sir! He froze, got red faced and apoligzed... I didn't mind too much cuz he was very hyperactive, all over, and well, I did look like a boy. LOL.

CupCake Fairy 08-07-2008 12:00 AM

Yeah i know how that is. I used to have an Emo hair cut for men because i was cosplaying and when my hair was down it made me look like a guy. I had girls stalk me it was kinda fun but they hated me as soon as they find out i was a girl

nagon 08-07-2008 12:00 AM

Oh lol, that's terrible XDD. Thankfully I've never been mistaken by a boy.

Rheks 08-07-2008 12:44 AM

Must've been awkward/annoying.
I've never been mistaken the opposite sex.

wispytearz 08-07-2008 01:27 AM

I was twelve and a "C" cup, so I don't remember ever being mistaken for male, at least not from people who could see me. Sometimes, online, it happens.

Ling 08-07-2008 03:09 AM

The other kids used to think I was a boy when I first started school because I had short hair. So I'd be wearing completely feminine clothes for example, a pink dress and they'd ask why I was wearing girls' clothes. D:

Vintage Royalty 08-07-2008 03:20 AM

I was mistaken for a guy when I had short hair.

Haha, lol, I used to have this one lady (my friend's mom) who would try and get me in on her Russian History project, convinced I was Russian. I'd be like 'I'm asian! Sorry!'

xD That's hilarious! Kudos to you for standing up like that. I would do that sometime (as I'm somewhat 'heavily burdened' as well...) if I had the guts.

YennonCrow 08-08-2008 11:46 PM

Thank god, but no. I've never been mistaken for a guy  and I hope I never do get mistaken

QueenAish 08-08-2008 11:52 PM

Sanctuary 08-09-2008 01:09 AM

No, but I mistook my friend's girlfriend for a guy xD

Ginger 08-09-2008 01:20 AM

As a baby I didnt have hair for like 3 years. So people kept mistaking me for a boy even tho I was a girl, wearing a pink all the time...some ppl repeatedly called me a boy, drove my mom nuts XD

Now-a-days, if i put my hair up in a ponytail, My face looks like a boys...T____T
I'm flatchested as well, so I do get called a boy if im dress up in a big shirt and shorts DX

Akstar 08-09-2008 01:30 AM

In many situations yes, I am female but taken as male, both funny and annoying, mostly funny as hell.

Chib 08-09-2008 02:44 AM
