I said that people should BACK UP their comments. I don't care if someone's in school or college, there's a thing called the internet and research. If someone's going to post something subjective they should find something to back it up instead of just posting an ignorant question.

I'm simply informing others who MAY NOT understand the situation, that it does not always come from people who are abused. If anything all you did was contradict yourself and ran around in circles with your own words.

I honestly don't see anything insulting in what you quoted from me above. In fact I honestly really do not understand where you get at that I am insulting.

I think that "criminals" (for lack of a better word) are almost entirely nurture. There are definitely cases where no amount of nurture will affect what a person does, but I think that these tend to be more rare. The nurture can also work both ways--to help combat nature (for example, a mental illness), or to foster bad tendencies in an otherwise healthy child (such as a physically abused child who turns around and abuses his children).

You came off offensive with your post, and yes it appeared as if you where questioning a person's intellect. There are a lot of reason's why a person commits a crime. Some claim it is for having an abusive child hood, others had a perfectly normal child hood. If you took classes in CJ you would of studied the different theories of why crime happens.

I have never insulted anyone on purpose, I was just informing you that you should be a little more respective towards others thoughts. If you are talking about other threads where I stated opinions..then that is opinions not insults. You shouldn't take those personally. Everyone has their own thoughts and opinions. and If I am wrong about something I accept correction....which I have in the past.

no I did not..I stated that some theologists believe that it is because they are "born that way" others view it that they "where abused" some even say it is the "economy" or even "they learned" their bad behavior.

So maybe I went a bit over board...I get aggravated when someone turns a discussion into a "who knows more then the other" thread. If you read past the first post we continued the discussion onto other aspects of why crime is committed. A average intelligent person would know that not all criminal behavior come from the result of a bad childhood. If that was so then 80% of America's youth would be murders and thieves. So I apologize for saying that you where calling everyone stupid...that is just how it appeared from your initial post.

That is a matter of opinion. No where was I rude, mean or anything as such, don't accuse me. As for Iif I took classes, as I have said I have taken them- I have a degree in Criminal Justice, and as I was saying originally in my post that there WAS other reasons. Don't chide or try to lecture me, you're failing.

There was nothing disrespecting in my post anywhere. That is a matter of opinion. Apparently you've read my post incorrectly somewhere, because I have read over my post at least 7 times and I have showed it to other people I know and they have agreed with me that there is nothing rude or obscene in my posts. Please get your facts straight and stop mixing opinion and fact. (Now I am getting a little testy but again it's not offensive, I'm asking you to stop attacking me.)

A bit? No, you outright attacked me. In no way was I disrespecting. Further I was, and I clearly have to repeat myself for you; I am informing people! No where have I treated this situation as I know better than someone else. Honestly stop twisting my words, it's irritating. Further I read every single post and from what I saw the majority of people were saying it was from abuse and from people in bad situations in their past. If anything you're insulting my own intellect and you continue to attack me. I have nothing more to say on this issue; and I'd appreciate it if you drop the subject and go on to other things. I am blunt when I speak, why should I sugar coat the truth? I'm through with this situation because you apparently can't understand what I am trying to say for one reason or the next.

My post did not make it seem that I was insulting anyone or making anyone look STUPID! That is opinion not fact! No where did I insult anyone, call anyone stupid. Again I was informing other people. You even said that people haven't gone to college or have taken certain classes so they wouldn't know this; which was why I was informing them. I know some people would not know this. Now you're going back and saying average intellegent people know this? This is just another example of you just running back and forth, so which is it? People don't know what I've said or they do know what I said? Because honestly I don't know what to think from your comments now.

Oh and one more thing; my caps/italics are making emphasis, they are not to be insulting because apparently you may not know the difference between emphasizing a point and considering it an insult. And in all truth; the way you have attacked and accused me IS insulting and very rude, so I hardly believe you don't intend to insult people.

I think there's various reasons for people to commit a crime, some might do it because of upbringing, some might do it because they are downright psychopathic.
But I really don't think it's in your blood, that's downright stupid. You are not born a murder, it's something you become, again, for various reasons.
