Should transgender women compete on women's sports teams or against other women?

Does their transgender status confer an unfair advantage on women's sports teams or when competing against other women in sports?

Should they only be allowed to compete on men's sports teams or against other men because they are biologically male, despite identifying as women?

Discuss.

Yes, absolutely. They are female and have always been female. I don't think it is unfair or fair at all. It's just how they are and the way they are. Simple as that.

If they transitioned before puberty, sure. If not, NO. Extra testosterone is an advantage. : - p

There are natural reasons for a cis (definition: identifying with the sex assigned at birth) woman to have extra testosterone as well. Would you argue that all sportswomen should have to undergo hormonal tests as well as drug tests in order to compete? If so, when during the month would you argue those would be done? Because there is natural fluctuation in the testosterone/oestrogen levels in anyone, particularly women.
