Which ones the Greatest

Superman is a joke. He is immune to basically everything, and even if I want to beat him up, where the hell am I going to find Kryptonite? Seriously. Spiderman is the shit though. He manages to fight crime and have a hot girl friend. F'sho.

First off, it greatly depends on wether your a Marvel Fan or DC fan.

Now if we are going by powers wise, Superman. he is the man of steel, while Spiderman is just a web slinger. Super is immune to bullets, can fly, and has super strength and faster than anything. Pretty much he flys circles around the web-slinger.

Now the problem with Superman is just what Batman calls him, a boyscout, he only cares about doing good and Lois Lane.

Spiderman on the other hand is easier to identify with and see him as human, while Superman is not.

Between the 2, I choose spiderman, mainly because he tends to have better stories written about him. Superman, I think it takes a special writer, someone who knows how to make the most powerful people as weak as a newborn kitten. See Neil Gaiman's "Sandman" for this.

They both suck xP end of story (to me)

Superman bothers me. I mean, I watched Lois and Clark two hours every morning for an entire summer. XP I like Superman, but his powers are just so ridiculous. Heroes like Batman and in this case Spiderman have awesome abilities or gadgets, but Superman is just invinvible, can fly (original couldn't, but still had super speed), for some reason he has ice breathe and lazer eyes (even though these seem pointless since he's invincible and can run away from anything with super speed). Spideman is totally more awesome. He's human, a huge nerd, and kicks butt.

Ohmeegod. But Spiderman seems more, you know, brave. I mean, Superman can't be defeated, Spiderman can, and so I believe he's... Braver, in a way. :D

My vote goes to Superman. OMFGWTFBBQ. Yes, Supes. Yes he has a billion and a half powers, but he's usually too dumb to remember he has them. =D Plus, I've enjoyed a bunch of his recent storylines, oddly enough. The writers seem to slowly make him feel more and more like he's a real person, not an icon.

Spiderman, on the other hand, is getting so far into the 'real person' stuff that he bothers me. YES. WE UNDERSTAND YOUR SUPER POWERS BRING YOU EMO. GET THE HELL OVER IT.

Of course, I grew up reading Superman comics, so I'm terribly biased.

Superman's my favourite character from DC, but I still like Marvel over DC so I'd have to say Spiderman. Superman isn't even human, it's hard to relate to him in any way and he's a bit too powerful. Spiderman's more down to earth :3

I don't like Superman or Spiderman. They're my least favorite. And I can't even think of my favorite guy superhero. But I'll go with Batman. Because he's not bad. And he's a regular guy. <3
