Well... the reason I say it's a history book, is not because I believe it, but because a lot of events in the bible actually happened. I'm a major history nerd so~ xD
I havn't read much of the bible though xD Should, so maybe I'll understand what my mom constantly bickers about >.< (She's a religious nut basically - Christian) |

but there are people who have found things wrong with the Bible also... I don't know which to believe, really. I'm Christian, so I don't want to make anyone angry or biased towards me...I'll stop there. D: |
Feel free to express your opinion. Nobody will flame you for it. If they do they'll be reported for doing so, besides, it's good to hear the views of someone who actually follows the religion, if anything it will help the discussion ^^

Technically, I am Catholic. I was baptized and such as a child. But I sure do not feel like one. x_x If there was anyone I was not close to, it would be God.

there are some who think the bible was created by crazy ppl XD ..
There are some who think the bible is truth.. some think its merely a book of stories.. some think it is purely false... and convinces people not to think for them selves.. and try to solve their own problems.. then there are the ones like. me.. who think. That there are parts of the bible that is probably just stories of moral.. to teach people how to be humane in a way.. and how to live life in the best way.. with out much conflict. I do think that there are portions in the bible that is true.. and some that is not true.. I also think that the Bible that we have is some what unreliable as it has been tinkered with a bit.. in its words.. also the entire things has not been fully translated.. so I do not hold to heart everything to be true.. but I do not think that all of it is false either.. If you are asking if there is a god however.. with my life experiences I would have to say yes.. but I am not sure if God is what everyone else thinks God is.. perhaps.. |
I won't believe anything unless there's someone there to ultimately prove it. Meaning, zero contradictions, no flaw.

Bible is a book of Christian mythology. There may be a little truth in there, but most likely most of it is just fiction and some plagiarized content.
