my friend has a very bad case of this, she had a few personality take over her last night very interesting,
yet they were trying to make me believe it was a ghost or spirits
i believe in them but then i don't..
he kept asking me if i believe him now cause she was sneezing
like crazy when she wasn't herself
that personality named Katie was allergic to cats,
this other personality this one named venasa or w/e was just laughing
cause that time she was being a bitch to that guy and slapped him
witch if she was her self she wouldn't
then the other personality's 2 guys and this other girl,
so she had five in all that night, i herd it was worser at her friends
the guy also had a personality change,..
and one of the guys who took over the girls body was gay
xD ehh any ways what do u believe in more multiple personality disorder or spirits/ghost take over there body's,

Are you sure your friend isn't faking? Has she actually been diagnosed with Multiple Personality Disorder or Disassociative Identity Disorder? If she hasn't been diagnosed and she acts normal when out in public I would start to think perhaps she was pulling your leg about it... on the other hand, if she DOES act the same in public and has went undiagnosed it sounds like she needs some serious help.
In some very rare circumstances I've seen things similar to a spirit taking over someone's body, but this is normally during very intense ritual and doesn't occur randomly throughout the day.

I have a really really hard time believing people who claim to have Multiple Personality Disorder.
But even if your friend did have it, it's nothing to joke about, bringing up ghosts and spirits or whatever..
But from what I'm reading, it just looks like your friends are just messing with you.

my fiancee has diagnosed MPD. he just has himself, who is named alex, and his other one, named jayden.
in his case, if i ask to speak to one or the other i usually get it done. it takes effort, but it happens. but other than that, jayden comes and goes whenever.
it sounds to me they're just playing you. MPD doesn't have anything to do with rituals or ouiji boards or anything.

No matter how hard it is to believe, Multiple Personality Disorder is real, but quite rare. It is a extreme psychological disorder.
However, in this case, having 5..? I've never heard of that... it's either real or not. You might have been just pranked, but real cases are simple jokes.

Sounds like she's faking it, obviously. Sounds like one of those people that do that kind of thing for attention, which is sad when there are people out there with personality disorders. Sorry, but I hate people that fake illnesses of any kind knowingly. It's just annoying.

Sorry, but your friend is a fake. Multiple personality disorder is very, very rare and most people who claim to have it are fakes. As someone else mentioned, it has nothing to do with ghosts or spirits.
And being allergic to cats is a physical condition, while multiple personality disorder is mental. I could be ill informed, but it doesn't make any sense for someone to spontaneously develop a physical condition because of a mental problem. If someone with multiple personalities had a cold, would only one have a cold?

I would definitely put in some research into the causes of MPD. It is actually very rare, as you've already had drilled into you, and it's usually the result of -extreme- psychological trauma, and I do mean extreme. The human mind is capable of handling a lot more than we think it is without shattering, and thats actually whats going on with MPD. Most people have a very limited understanding of it and often confuse it with schizophrenia.
"When Rabbit Howls" is a book about one of the more extreme cases of it thats been documented, and might be a good read, but I don't suggest loaning it to your friend at this point in time.
The woman in question went through most of her life without people realizing that there were actual multiple personalities at work. She was married, and she had a child. None of whom realized for some time, which should tell you exactly how subtle that it can be.
As much as I hate to sound cynical, while there's always a possibility that she's not, it does sound sort of like your friend is playing a game for attention based on limited understanding, but since I'm not a psychologist, and i know that the problem is as broadly varied as it's patients, I'm not the one to say for sure.

Having lived and grown up in a house with someone who had or has, MPD, I think it's really shameful when people act out like that for attention. As for the amount of personalities, this person I lived with had several, all different ages, it was bizarre when we (my family) finally found out, but it made sense as well.
If your friend does have MPD or DID, she needs to see a therapist, preferably one who specializes in this... they're hard to find though.

It's not a matter of believing in MPD, it's definitely real. If she really does have it, she should get some help to get that under control.
However, if she's faking, you should scold her, because the disorder is very serious and should not be taken lightly. I doubt that many spirits/demons would take over her at once. It seems a little impossible to me. It also seems a little unlikely that she really has it if she hasn't been diagnosed with it, or if she doesn't act that way in public.

yeah DID is real and people who make fun of it or try to use it in pranks need to actually go out and see the people with it and then they'll see it's nothing to laugh about.

It is true that rarely do people have a case sever enough to even consider it a disorder, and at most, most people don't have it. It is the idea that one can create multiple personalities and play one to the other all the time. Yes she was probably faking it too.

:/ that sounds like the type of person who says they have bipolar disorder because they're really happy and five seconds later their really sad.
this girl is doing everything just for attention, which is pretty sad.
she could get in serious trouble doing this.
example : she could go to the mental hospital to get evaluated which could stay on her record.
i know my friend has been in the mental hospital a lot because of his schizophrenia and it's hard for him to get insurance.
