Here's the story... I have a friend who mailed me a package on August 31st through the USPS. It's September 25th and I don't have my package yet. She lives in northern Virginia, I live in central Missouri. She can't find the receipt for it, so tracking it's out of the question. I don't know the weight or size of the package, but I do know most of its contents. It's uninsured (it wouldnt've mattered; the best item in said package was used and she didn't have a receipt for it anymore). I don't even know what class she sent it through, she doesn't remember what class she sent it through... I was wondering if there was any way I could go about retrieving the package or at least finding out where it is?

If there's any more information you need, tell me. I'm not sure about this sort of thing, so I'm not sure what information is needed aside from what I've posted, if any.

I'm not really sure myself. Have you at least tried going to the post office and asking someone about it? Maybe you can try giving them her address and your address and the date it was sent, since you at least have that information.

I haven't tried going there yet because as I understand it, only the mailer of the package can do things like that. I asked her to do it the other day and she said she would but then I never heard back from her about it. So... I feel like it's kinda up to me. ._.
