Faulty Inner-Calendar
I often get the days of the week mixed up and often think holidays are earlier or later than they really are. It's actually a bit embarrassing. Anyone else have trouble telling what day of the week is which now and then?

I have more trouble with remembering the number date than the day of the week. I do forget about the less festive holidays, like Labor Day, quite often. I recently installed a little calendar on my computer so I can keep up with the days and remember different appointments and events.

I keep a calander on my wall and cross off the day before I get up every morning, so I don't really forget about what day it is.
I do forget about my birthday though. Its the day after Halloween which is my absolute favorite holliday, and I get so excited about Halloween, that I forget that the day after is my birthday. XD |
I usually forget about holidays. I'd think a holiday is like 3 weeks away but in reality it's more like 5 days away!

I am constantly forgetting what date it is, or what day of the week it is. I'm homeschooled, so I'm not constantly confronted by days, and every time my Dad takes a day off of work I think it's the weekend and it takes me a little while to get rid of that thought.
The computer and the calendar cross-off are wonderful ideas. I have a dry erase board that lists the activities of the week by day, and what times I have to be out the door on each day for various activities. |
