In Loving Memory (Death and Remembrance) Help

I hope I'm doing this right/posting this in the right place... But here goes.

I have lost two loved ones this year to cancer. One, my grandmother, the other... My dog (that was like a brother to me).

I decided it might be nice to make little memorial videos with their pictures.... I'm not sure what songs to put with them though. I'm also not sure if I should make two small separate ones, or just one. I'm thinking one for each though...

My question to you all... What songs would you suggest? What would be good to remember them with? Should I do a sad song or a happy song?

((Is this the right place for this? I am asking for help after all... It's not really a discussion.....))

I've made lots of videos for such reason. I love using Windows Movie Maker ^.^

Thats a really sweet idea for rememberance.

I would suggest songs that suited their personality, or where their favorite songs, or at least favorite artist.

As for mood, do you want to remember them, with a song that brings tears to your eyes, or a song that makes you remember all the fun times.... I usually try for the good times...

I made a music video before, um the song "Remember When" is a good song. It's alittle romantic though, so that can fit you and your dog. I also like the song "100 Years to Live" by Five for Fighting.

I would, personally, lead to something that makes you smile just a little. My recommendation is definitely a song that recalls the good memories. But bear in mind that you'll probably come to associate this song with these people (pets are people, too, damn it) whenever you hear it. As such, it's probably not best to pick your all-time favorite pick-me-up song for these videos. You might start getting depressed if you hear it too many times.

Um;;; I suggest something to remember them by...but not something too sad though..that could make you even more sad. Make it something that will make you smile and remember the good times. Do it according to the picture...if it's you and your grandma baking or whatever...put something that reminded you of that moment...I'd say happy xD whichever...just trying to be helpful. Awh;;; and I'm sorry about your doggy as well as your grandma =[ ♥
