Not everybody cries when something tragic happens to them...even when a person dies. There are different stages in the grieving process, and crying is not necessarily always going to be one of them. It may turn out that you cry a week from now, a year from now, or never...but not crying does not mean that you're not being sensitive. I still haven't cried over my cousin who died over two years ago...somebody I cared for a lot...but it doesn't mean I haven't grieved his death. I'm sorry to hear that your family doesn't understand right now...they're in a lot of pain too, and so they may be finding it difficult to be sensitive towards you. But don't feel bad....it definitely does not mean that you're being insensitive.
