How to lighten a dingy shirt

my favorite pink shirt is dingy, because I accidently put it in with my darks and also my younger brother got me with tooth paste, so my shirt has some light spots too.

do I just strip the color out with bleach and re dye it or re dye it a whole nother color.

i'm thinking red.:P

I think your shirt is probably just ruined, honestly.

I mean, you can try bleaching it and re-dying it, but bleach is actually really harsh on material and may ruin the material of your shirt.
