Um..yeah. So how about ever single flipping time I speak my mind, be honest, and/or admit something....afterwards, I always seem to regret it and/or feel so stupid that I said it. I always seem to regret it a hundred percent. Not to mention I regret most things nowadays lately! And it's like I feel like I can't do anything right. Can someone maybe help me figure things out???

Same goes for just about everyone. So, don't feel bad. I'm all ears though if you want to talk about what you need help figuring out. :heart: Message me back here in your thread; or feel free to shoot me a private message if you'd like.

What makes you feel bad about it? Do you feel like you've hurt someone's feelings, or that you made a fool of yourself, or something along those lines? Because there's absolutely nothing bad about being honest about your emotions. If you're telling people how you feel and standing up for yourself, I'm willing to bet that you don't look stupid.
Sometimes it just takes a little time to build the confidence you need to be open and honest. Don't second-guess your emotions! Maybe you just need practice and a little help finding good ways to express yourself.

I don't feel it quite often, just that I'm regretting yelling at my exbest friend. I shouldn't have made a big deal out of it. Though I did, I have yet to find out if it's a bad thing or a good thing yet. ^^;
Maybe it depends on the topic your regretting? You might not be completely regretting, just slightly overwhelmed at the choice. Try thinking on the positive side that it was a good decision, unless it is strictly against the law for some reasons(drugs & underage..etc.) Either way, you can one up yourself and change it, like morally, not guaranteeing mentally though. I have yet to find it out myself.
Just like Knerd said, "Don't second-guess your emotions!" Second-guess usually makes a person panic and regret the decision they make more.

Jen: You're right.......... :/ -looks down- At least I'm being honest and myself period, right?
Knerd: It's just that after I be honest and stuff like that, I feel like it was a weird thing to say and that they're gonna hate it that I said that and/or they loose interest they had in me. -shrugs- It's just weird....and I hate the feeling.
Tez: Here, I need to find out the same thing. And you're right, I might just be overwhelmed by the choice. Or it could be like what Jen said...I need to get used to it? I don't know.
But I hope I find out soon because, boy, it's really bothering me.

Im that way too. **looks down**. Except when someone doesn't reply to me right away, I instantly assume...so I'm just asking to feel bad about myself.

Never regret standing up for yourself or speaking your mind.
No one has you as their first priority but you, so don't look down on yourself for being your own advocate.

Like Kleine said...I agree with her. And besides, you shouldn't regret doing anything period. What you do is what you do. What you say...is what you say. So don't regret it. You all say and do what you do for a reason. That's being yourself. But if you feel you shouldn't do or say what you're about to...then don't. Like what mini said, keep it all in your head. =^D

Always spak your mind and dont be afraid of what people think about you, but if you're sincerely worried theres always that old saying "think before you speak." Which is very helpful if you know how the certain person will react to a certain comment.
