Well, when we graduated from high school, my best friend moved more than 1,000 miles away, so I know how you feel.
But it was in her best interest to move, and you have to understand that and try to let your friend go. If it's the best thing for her, you have to do your best to support her decision to leave.
Of course, you're going to be sad at first -- there's no denying that will happen. But eventually, you'll get used to her not being around all the time, and you can always use the infinite amounts of technology at your fingertips to talk to her: chatting online, emailing, skype, calling on the phone, etc.
And you can always go visit her! :D When I was in college and had more spare time, I'd go visit my BFF once a year. I'd either drive there or fly, and visit for a long weekend.
I see my best friend once a year, maybe, so I always try to get in as much time with her as possible, as it's very precious these days. This thread reminds me that I need to go visit her sometime this year... XD
