There is this boy that I really like who is in my class. We have known each other since Kindergarten, but he barely talks to me. He is much smarter then me, and whenever I talk to him its always about homework, or subjects, and I dont know how to talk to him about other stuff. Ive to make myself prettier, funnier, sweeter, and I try everything to make him talk to me more.

I dont want to confess to him, because I tell people who confess to me that I hate it when they do that. But I really like him, and I have no idea what to do when I am around him. Sometimes in class my eyes gaze at him, and in the hall ways I bump into him, I feel like a sad puppy twenty percent of the time!
I need help to get him to notice me somewhat, and I am myself around him, so I dont know what else to do.

Ask him out!

You two could go to a movie and then hang out afterwards. That alone would give you plenty to talk about What you want to go see, whether you liked it, other movie recommendations, what you want to do afterwards, etc.

Don't feel like you have to sit around and wait for him to make a move. You might feel prettier, sweeter, or funnier, but you shouldn't have to change yourself in order to get his attention. Talking to him and asking him out will get you instant results. :)

Knerd is right, though since you knew him for so long, you might want to try like, ask him about homework, and the casually ask him about something else, and try see what he's interested in so that you guys can talk about more than just homework. I suggest you try talk to him more about things you have in common before asking him out. Just my opinion.

I totally agree with Knerd. If he doesn't think you're sweet/pretty/funny enough, then clearly his standards are unrealistic!

You should never have to change yourself for a boy, because somewhere, there's a guy who likes you for you, just how you are right now ;D
