This may be a bit odd but probably not the worst thing on here.

To put it simply Im unmotivated to do almost anything that is beneficial for me. I have two medical diets that require some sort of medication...I barely do the meds...Prefering the tv or one of my videogames over school work my grades aren't so spectacular...i can't bring myself to care....And though i mention Video games they only interest me/make me feel alive for only a little awhile.

I guess i'm looking for examples of what keeps you going or how you think i could motivate myself (I'm not a religous man so that won't do much for me)

Think of it this way, why not do what is beneficial to you??? Start by doing a few things at a time that seem to benefit yourself, and you will start to feel motivated to do other things. Sitting around playing video games is going to make you feel less motivated to do much of anything. So put the gaming aside for awhile, and try and do other things =3

Sounds like you may be suffering from depression. I'm one of its many victims as well, so not much I can offer other than getting help if you can afford it and find someone for support. I know that's kinda crappy advice, but like I said, I'm dealing with a similar battle. Just keep in mind that so long as the tv and video games still hold some interest to you, you're not doing too bad. I keep losing interest in my games and everything else I do. The only other thing I can suggest is if you try rewarding yourself for completing/working on tasks such as your school work. Maybe do 1 homework assignment and reward yourself by playing an hour of video games. I reward myself with games (when they hold my interest) after completing some housework.

You sound very much like you suffer from depression, I can highly recommend one thing: Go out!

Honestly, getting out of the house and just DOING something will make you feel more alive again, the thing with depression is that you stay at home all day and really don't want to get out of bed, this gets you into a downwards spiral which just makes the depression worse and worse. The best cure in my book is to get out and start living.

I absolutely agree with fashion. Actually, I was looking for like button when I realized this was not facebook! xD
But yeah, get out, and go live. Do stuff with friends. Or do some sport?
What Polaris said also sounds like a good idea. Whichever works best for you.

Well. Why don't you want to do anything good for your self?
Do you hate yourself? Do you feel life isn't worth it?

Perhaps try seeing a doctor about depression, a lot of people suffer from it. THOUGH, if you're already on special diets and stuff, perhaps trying to follow them might make you feel better? I know when I eat right and sleep well, it does WONDERS for how I feel about myself and my life.
