Hair removal cream to me is a massive waste of money, it doesn't work any better/last any longer than shaving, costs a whole lot more and burns my skin...result, huh? Don't think so xD
|
It worked for me while I was still using it, and lasted about 3-4 days, but it does get expensive.

I don't shave all that much, so hair removal cream is pretty good, and irritates my skin less then shaving, so i use it a lot. Takes less time too

I have really sensitive skin as well. I usually get those shaving creams that are for sensitive skin from Wal-Mart or WalGreens and those last me a month and a few weeks (the small ones maybe a month) because I shave like, every four days because my hair doesn't grow that quickly anymore. Honestly, I haven't tried waxing my legs, but I can tell you I get my eyebrows, lip, chin, and underarms waxed and it works a hell of a lot better than trying to pluck / shave it all off. They even have a wax for sensitive skin! I love waxing because: One, it doesn't get caught and tear your skin off, two, it's quicker and the pain only lasts for a moment (whereas ingrown hairs last for days) and three, there's no ingrown hairs!
Though, there's always the option of stepping out of the spray of water and loathing your legs or whatever the hell you're shaving in soap, and then shaving. That seemed to work for me for a while. Whatever you do, do NOT try hair removal cream (Nair, that shit) because it will seriously fuck you up. |

js. And, how does nair fuck shit up? It's never done anything bad to me. o 3o Except the first time I used it my skin got a little reddish, but I think I left it on a little too long. |
I had a Brazilian wax done for a special day once. I had tons of ingrown hairs, and the area was only smooth for like a day or two. Huge waste of money for me.
I use dollar store brand hair remover sometimes on my arms and it works great. I also used to use Veet on the skin ABOVE the "lady parts", and it worked fine. I knew when to take the cream off when the hairs started to look like they were detaching/waving away from the skin. If that makes any sense. I use Venus razors because so far they work the best. Although, I still get irritated skin sometimes. I hate my body hair so much. It is dark and grows fast because of my birth control. I want to do laser hair removal in certain areas, but am not sure if it really works. Fuck trying to be all womanly and perfect. GRRR |
for gel i recommend sauve and for a razor schick they work really great on my skin and my skins really sensitive

My skin's not terribly sensitive, but I use razors called Intuition Plus I believe. They have a moisturizing bar that's like built-in shaving cream. I use shaving cream along with it anyways, but I can't even feel the razor and my skin is incredibly soft afterwards. I just get random gel/cream, they all work about the same for me, at least when I use the Intuition.
Hair remover works fine, but I can't stand the smell of all the ones I've used. Plus it's messy and just more of a hassle than shaving most of the time. |
Shave? Are you kidding? I had similar problems when I was younger and discovered the oldest way was best: Middle Eastern style body wax. Underarms and legs done by a professional every four to six weeks I don't have to worry about it. The hair no longer grows on my legs. No it doesn't really hurt that much if done by a professional. Ask How long they've been waxing and what kind of wax they use, soy or beeswax is best.
