Yeah it's not cheap around here for a lady to get her hair cut. :(

Yeah haha. the guy would have to be freakin blind.

Well if someone mistakes you for a dude... you have permission to laugh at them. typically I look there just to be 100% sure of someone's gender if I can't tell by their face. If I can't tell then... well I wait for the voice... if not then... I go with a gender neutral.

Does your husband not know how to cut hair?

Girl, you are beautiful. ♥ And I think a pixie cut would be so adorable on you. It's a hairstyle that I've been thinking of getting though the bf isn't fond of short hair. xD

Tell the hubby that getting the hair cut would make you feel better. And that he should want you to feel good about yourself. Otherwise, I might have to make a trip to your house and scold him.

Poet- nope he doesn't know how. he's chop it all up.

Lizzy- Aww thanks. You guys on here are the only ones who tell me that. My hubs likes my hair shorter, I think you should get yours done too if that's what you want. Haha i'll put you on the list of people who are gonna scold my hubs..

Haha well it's worth a shot. I say if you're taking care of the kids all the time $20 is pretty cheap for keeping the wife happy.

Tell him daycare costs a lot more

True daycare does cost a lot, hence why i have to split my time between the boys and me to go college. i think i'm getting warn out and i dunno what to do about it besides lay in bed and cry. :( it's just been one of those kind of days.

Just telling the truth. :) And I might. It will be awhile though since money's tight. And yes, warn him about the scolding mob.

You're looking good, Lon! ;)

Also, bear in mind that "ideal" weight doesn't take into account bone structure and muscles, so don't slim yourself down too much. Some people just don't suit being super skinny (all the females in my family are examples) so stop where you think you look best :)

I wish you all the best in it :) Also, definitely don't mould yourself to look how you think others want you to. Do it for you! :)

I think you should go for what you think would look best, it's your hair after all. Not everybody is going to like the same thing, may as well go with what you like.

And congrats on losing the weight!

thanks! i feel better being a little bit smaller.

i think i'm just gonna have to get it cut and not ask hubby about it because he keeps ignoring me. he doesn't understand why i want to cut it again already.

he ignores me all time. i tell the boys they can't do thing and hubby lets them anyways. then they tear stuff up and he wonders why.

i ought to be sneaky and just get it cut while he's work.

*hugs* Gosh... well if you've been trying it's on his side that the problem is on.
There's an interesting way to try and fix that though that doesn't involve face-to-face talking.
What if you both wrote a letter to each other and explained how you feel about certain things and then you could just forget about it until the mail arrived with your letter :)

Having a flattering haircut can make you feel a million times better about yourself. So if you know that style will look good on you, go for it :) You're doing well with the weight loss, your face has lost some of its fullness, so congrats!

Don't focus solely on the weight though? It's health that you need to be gaining. Weight lose is a side affect of health gain. I think people as a whole tend to focus entirely on losing weight, because it's the most visible thing, but it's really only part of the overall picture
