I'm not sure if I might be going insane or something is just wrong with me for the past few days I have literally got on by bicycle rode to the park found a bench and wait..yes I wait I don't know why but the longest time I hav sat there wait was around four hours..There is something inside of me telling me I have to wait so that's what I do then after a while I just go back home. It might just be me being bored, uninspired or going a bit insane wait for something, I don't even know what I am waiting for.
Please if you have any ideas of what might be happening please do tell, Thank you for listening.

I don't even know but it reminds me of a book by Samuel Beckett called "Waiting for Godot". It's one of the worst books I've ever read but who knows, maybe it'll snap you out of this.

I have no clue why it turned into a classic. Even my professor kind of hates it.

Honestly I sometime want to do that. I just want to go some where public, sit and wait for nothing at all. I think it's just the idea of getting fresh air or you're bored and have nothing to do. Not going insane, no. I do hope you are not. Maybe do something productive or if it is a gut feeling that you have to be there, then do it. Wait and see what comes by it. It sounds fun. Or you might need an adventure. You're waiting for someone to come grab your hand and tell you you're the adventure they need.

Oh my god, Waiting for Godot. We analysed this text for high school maths and it was the most annoying book i've ever read in my life. It is so insanely absurd it's just... Incomprehensible. Haha.

I go to the park by the river a lot and just sit there for hours at a time. It's just somewhere where I can relax and people wont bother me for the most part. I find it quite nice during the summer when it's warm at night.

The urge to go somewhere and 'wait' is a new one to me.
Technically insanity can be tested by doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. While superficially this sounds a lot like that, there's a lot more going on outside, in public, while you're waiting. Because you listed "being bored" as one of your possible reasons for acting on this thought, I can't help but lean toward that notion.
Do you feel you have to go to the park to wait or is it just an idea that pops into your head that you could do, so, out of boredom, you go and do that? There's nothing (I'll eat my words if any jokes come out of this) wrong with going out and people watching (if you're not creepy about it, which I don't expect you are) so if anything... kudos for getting some fresh air and sunlight! It's good for you. And, I mean, let's be honest, everyone on some level wants to know to be somewhere before something happens. If you're acting on your curiosity don't count it as insanity (but you might want to rein it in a little).
But if you feel like the world will end if you don't sit on a bench for hours you might want to start with getting more (and better) sleep.

The more I think about it I think it maybe that I need something to inspire me, recently there was a large storm and after it was really cool and peaceful so I went to my spot and waited, when I was leaving I saw the play ground and noticed that a part of the play ground was melted and destroyed from the lightning. I have read all your comments and thoughts about my situation and I am feeling that it may just be boredom and now I realize that it meets the definition of insanity a bit but now I feel that I am far from insane. Thank you again to everyone who has given their thoughts it has helped greatly.

Here is a photo of the play ground which I was talking about in my last post. I know it's kind of pointless but kind of cool

Sometimes I get weird urges like that, not exactly though just similar. For example, one day I was at the doctors office and I noticed the safe place to stay the night cards. I had moved out of the bad place I was in and had no reason to want one. Try as I might I just could not ignore the card, something told me that I needed on and to keep it safe. I ended up not being able to ignore it and grabbed one. I put it in my bag and forgot about it. A couple of months later We were at a gas station and there was this woman who was just in all sorts of distress. I went over and talked to her even though my boyfriend suggested that he would. I told him that it would have been better if a female did it because it would come off less threatening. So I talked to her. She was panic'd, looking over her shoulder and trying not to cry. I asked her if she got left behind there and needed a ride somewhere. She immediately took the ride without second thought. After a little while she realized what she had done. She just got into the car with complete strangers! She got a little worried but I was able to talk her down a little bit. She then completely broke down and explained what happened. Her room-mate black mailed her and caused her to get arrested. They ended up having to realese her because they had nothing to hold against her. So she was stuck in the midddle of the town with no where to go or anything. I think she was telling the truth because she was obviously clean, at least at the moment. She had no scabs or open needle marks or anything. She did have a large bruise on the side of the face, where the police allegedly slammed her into the ground to hard. I suddenly remembered the card I stuck into my wallet a couple of months back! I told her that she should call the place and they would be able to help her. She would have a safe place to stay the night and they would have programs and stuff ready to help with other things. I told her that it was a good idea to get into college and not to do anything to her room-mate that she would regret. She seemed to appreciate it and thanked us as we dropped her off at a gas station she asked us to drop her off at. I really hope that she is doing well for herself. I don't think you're going insane. Your brain may be telling you that something important is going to happen, you never know. You could also be extremely bored. Bring a book with you when you go sit on that bench if you can't avoid the sensation. It could even help improve your vocabulary and reading skills and whatnot. Not that I'm saying you do or don't have great skills with vocab and reading. There is always room for improvement
