Ok so I sometimes play this game that my boyfriend hates (hates hates HATES) called League of Legends; he hates how angry people get when playing it. Anyways, I have my own laptop and he has his desktop. The last couple of days he has been working 12 hour shifts at his work and was allowed to bring a computer with him. Since he couldn't bring his computer I allowed him mine. He installed a bunch of games and took it to work. He gave it back and I needed the space back on my Hard Disc, so I had him uninstall his games. I got back to my computer to find that he uninstalled League of Legends and accidentally left the uninstaller open on my computer. I am LIVID!? I don't even care that he uninstalled the flipping game!? I CARE THAT HE GOT ONTO MY COMPUTER AND MESSED WITH MY STUFF. I mean it's mine, and I have few things to claim as such. He has no right to just go in and change what I have set....

Tell him to have some fucking respect.

I was gonna give you something long and philosophical, but that about sums up all I gotta say on the situation.

His words were "if I had a license I could charge you $150 for getting that "virus" off your computer." He does not understand why I am so angry.

...your boyfriend sounds like, for lack of a better term, a complete and utter giant douchepickle.

You have different taste from him and he needs to respect that or, for lack of a better term again, go fuck himself with a cactus.

It is also illegal for a licensed medical practitioner to perform treatment on a patient without the patient's consent.

Go on his desktop, uninstall all his games, and then he will understand. >:3

And when he gets mad, "Huh, so you're saying it's NOT okay to go on your partner's computer and uninstall anything they like that you don't? Hmmm...I'm confused now!"

Oh, god. To re-patch LoL takes forever too. :/
As toxic as I know the community is, it's your laptop and it's how you decide to spend your free time. Even if he doesn't like the ragers it's not like you're bringing them into your house. I'd say let him know that your interests aren't going to negatively impact his life and that just because he doesn't enjoy the game doesn't mean he has any right to be deleting shit off your personal computer.

What a dick.
If he doesn't like the game or community (frankly, thats why I don't play LoL, aside from the fact that pvp games usually just piss me off over the internet...lag), thats fine but its your PC and he shouldn't be uninstalling your shit.

I do agree though, go onto his desktop and uninstall his shit. That's what I'd do if my boyfriend had a computer. Thank fuck the only time he messed my computer up, we managed to save it. >_>
His porn watching habits got me a trojan. uhg. if he'd fucked up my pc and i had to do a system wipe he would have gotten cold water poured on his head and a kick to the groin because i'd asked him not to watch porn on my pc for that very reason. >_>
instead he just got banned and locked off using my pcs for 6 months or so. lol

I don't like it when my boyfriend would play LoL because he gets frustrated with the people who are complete idiots and will do nothing to help the party, and the fact that he also gets frustrated with the people he also plays with that he knows- He had a group that they would go to a tourney and they would of course fail. So, he stops playing it every so often. I don't really care or like it when he does play because I'm the one who gets the brunt of his reaction and I have to deal with him venting about it. So, I am the one who tells him to go walk away from the computer and such.

anyway, I don't agree that your boyfriend uninstalled the game. I don't care if it is because of his not liking how people get angry playing it or what, but that's still not right. I wouldn't even think of doing that to my boyfriend.

I think you should just tell him that you didn't like it that he went and uninstalled a game that you played on your computer. You were good enough to let him borrow your computer for work when he needed it and that you'd appreciate it if he wouldn't un-install your stuff. That and you wouldnt' do that if the roles were reversed (he had a laptop and you could take a computer to work, etc).
