Hey...
So today my mommy of mine informed me that we may be making a cross-country move soon. I am very conflicted.... Whereas I feel the move is necessary (Basically, if we move it means daddy of mine got a new, better job), I also have people here that I am close to, that are like family to me.
I don't know how to really feel ahout all of this, to be honest. I've lived in this little town for my whole life, known most of these people forever.... Then I am told I maybe uprooted from it in just a matter ofa few months.... I ddon't know what to do or what to think... Have you ever dealt with something this life changing? If so, how did you deal? What is some advice your wise brain can give to me.

I've moved from place to place all my life. It sucked but I think it has actually made me more adaptable. But if you've been in this town all your life it will definitely be like leaving a piece of yourself behind.
Maybe you can try to look at it as a positive thing. Like this might open up new opportunities, friends, and interesting things that you just would not have experienced otherwise. It will make you more versatile.
Besides, you can still keep in touch and visit your old town and friends. It's not like they will disappear forever from the face of the earth because you are leaving. It's not irreversible, right? Just try to think of it that way.
I have a lot of friends and family that moved away to different states. We still keep in touch by way of Facebook. You can always try that too.

I would definitely consider getting skype or a similar program/website and using it to keep in touch with everyone :)

I've had similar when I moved from AZ to WA. Skype keeps us in contact.
