hmm..i dont think offering you a ride home was a bad thing. i think he was just being friendly and wanting you to go. i do it to my friends when i want them to go somewhere and theyre coming up with reasons why they cant. (: but i dont know the whole story so i could be wrong.
and im completely with you on the alcohol thing. id take a milk shake over a beer anyday too. it tastes better, and i want every move i make to be made by me completely conscience and not under the influence of anything. and dressing up is fun. gives people a new light to view you in. and everyone would be so amazed adn just be all 'wow' at seeing you so out of character. you may even find that you like it. Well I would go I think. You should never miss opportunities when they are brought you way. I've learned that the hard way. So what if you have to get dressed up why can't this be one of the few times you do? Is there no way for your boyfriend to pick up afterwards or save if you it's aweful then maybe it could turn into a date night too as long as your dressed n_n
Are there any girls you work with that you could hide among to get away from the scary guy? Or just continue to talk about your boyfriend if he won't leave you alone maybe he will get the idea. Or say that your boyfriend is a real big jealous type n_~ |
I'm not going to go, it's too much potential drama, & I can't be bothered! There will always be a NEXT time to dress up! Promise, promise! Besides it's the middle of winter, only mad people would wear thin cocktail dresses in this weather.

Dressed up doesn't mean girly, just looking nice and not all scruffy.
But hey, if you don't want to go, it's okay. Because there will always be other parties to go to, even ones you don't have to pay to go to. |
I'd say that if you don't want to go, if anyone makes you uncomfortable, or what not, then don't go. You don't have to go just because other people think it would be fun.
Also, I'd be weary going somewhere with a guy you know likes you when you have a boyfriend. |
Just try it out, you never know you just might have a great time.
It's a rush of adrenaline trying out new things every once in a while, I say go for it, you can never regret having tried something out.' You may even enjoy getting fancied up :D |
