So yes, that guy who likes me from work doesn't creep me out anymore. Infact he's really quite nice! He's just TOO FRIENDLY that's all. He needs more tact & to be careful of dangerous people, like seriously!!


Anyhow... there's an Awards Night work function happening on the 7th of July, & it's free for all of us who work there, but $65 if you want to bring a non-work partner. Anyhow, the guy & my friend Cheng, want me to go... but I keep making excuses....


Like, "Oh I can't drive, I won't be able to get home!" "Oh it costs money to buy a stupid dress I will never wear again! Think of the MANGA that I could buy!!"


Cheng was like to me, "You're a big girl now, you've gotta learn how to wear heels! You need to dress up every once in a blue moon, you're not going to be young forever!"


I think the fact the guy offered me a ride home if I went is a bit... ugh enough. Also think me strange if you want, but I don't like alcohol, I'd rather a vanilla milkshake ANY day!!


I think that it's the dressing up factor that makes me not want to go... not just the guy...


I don't know. A LITTLE HELP HERE?



My boyfriend isn't going since he said it's a waste of money for $65, but worth it for me since everything is FREE. He said Cheng's right, that I SHOULD dress up once in a while...


I guess it's the "tom-boy" in me, although I am not a tom-boy... just lazy.

I would not know what to do in that kind of situation either.

But some things you could base on going are:
1. Are there going to be other people you know there?
2. Free food? (Sorry, Imma pig. >_>;)
3. How long does it last? Are you required to stay the whole time?

See, I'm not really the dressing-up type either (dresses, anyways. cosplay is a whole different realm). It was hard for me to go to prom. At least I got everything I needed to buy on super-sale. ^^

...and I did have more, but for some reason words are becoming a problem for me. Sorry. ^^

Nah I'm not going to have an award, I haven't been there long enough to get one!! XD


I wouldn't want to stay there the whole time, but I'd have to rely on others to take me home, & they'd probably get cranky I'd ruin there night.


Plus I don't like to drink...


Too many factors for me not to go... :( But Cheng offered to go shopping for a nice but not so expensive dress, she said she'd do my hair & make up...! :(

Lots of people I know will be there, but that GUY offered to take me home... :( I don't like him like that LOL, he's just a nice bloke. He actually pondered together with Cheng going, "How can we make her go!? WE MUST CONVINCE HER!"

I almost didn't go, actually.
But I forced myself to go anyway and had a great time. ^_^

Yes I have told him, many a times. I offered twice for him to meet my boyfriend, but he is sorta like...ummm ummm... My boyfriend thinks even that me saying that {they've never met but yeah} is mean!

well if you don't want to go, heres an excuse, Ask your boyfriend to go to the movies with you or something that night, that way you get away from it, your boyfriend would spend less, you'de spend a little more, unfortunately, but in the end it'd probably make up for it.
