yeah.. i go to bed last night and there is a tropical depression around, i wake up, and there are punches of leaf clots and small fallen branches everywhere and i discover said tropical depression raised to a hurricane and smacked us, then went away, all while i was asleep! i hear half the city is out of power right now, i was lucky enough to be on the side with power.

but that is freaky, i literally slept through a hurricane O_o;;

  Something similar happened to me the other day. I went to bed and everything seemed peaceful.. it looked like it was going to rain but I wasn't woken up by any loud storming in the middle of the night.
  
  Then when I got up the next morning our power was out and there was tree branches all over the place in our yard and the street. o_o;
  There was one lying down across the entrance to our parking lot so I couldn't get out of the parking lot to go to work.
  
  I was like... what?! When did this happen.. I'm so confused! lol.
  
  I got to take the day off of work though which was nice ^^

My first period class is the only class where I can look out the window (the shades are down in periods 2, 3, and 5, period 7 looks at a brick wall, and period 4, 6, and 8 don't have windows at all (gym, lunch, science). Tuesday I was staying in the library with my friend. Last I saw out the window it was very sunny, but it was pounding SO hard, and the library has a way higher ceiling than the rest of the school, so the rain kind of echos. I needed to steal a trash bag from the library to carry my books home in...

I've never been in the middle of a hurricane, but I've slept through a LOUD thunderstorm. Apparently, I was subconscious of it, and dreamed of the audience clapping after I played the piano. xDDDD

Funny story; Houstonians (like me) were told to go home early, the after-school practices were canceled, everyone was warned to get home early and prepare for a nasty storm.
It didn't rain one drop.
I guess it veered off and hit you. D; That's awful.

But, being a Houstonian, I do know the whole deal, for lack of a better word, with hurricanes and such. x_x; Nasty things, they are.
I slept through Allison, which dumped about 30-40 inches of rain on my fair town.

we get dust storms and bad electrical storms but nothing ever as bad as that, or nothing that I have heard about. Though we arn't really tropical weather here but I don't think that should really matter though with storms like that should it?

I sleep through everything -_-"
