Publicly Humiliated On Youtube,
Yesterday i went onto youtube and discovered a video called "Ugly people dont have a voice"
well, i decided to leave a comment that spoke my mind, it wasnt anything dramatic, cruel, mean or otherwise, just a youtube comment that, i thought, would be blown off or at the very most, have a mean comment back.. i was suprised to see that i had a message on my youtube account, i dont usually get messages often, if at all. I opened it and it said something along the lines of "we're sorry sara, we made a new video to say we're sorry, check it out." well, i decided to check it out and from the begining, it was cruel, it was rude and mean. they made a song, they use my pictures, they make fun of me, and all that great stuff =/ Heres the thing though.. Shit. That's fucking retarded. It's a bit like school (which I managed to escape), except made public to the ENTIRE OMTHER FUCKING WORLD. Report it, send about a trillion messages to youtube about it. That has to be illegal, isn't it?

i didnt watch your video..just the one they made of making fun of you..i dont think your ugly though only fat which is no big deal cause the heavier you are the less time it takes to lose alot of weight and its easier too (its taken me a whole year to lose 18o.o)but yeah those guys are rude..if i a webcam id respond to that..i mean im part of this club at thats against violence towards gays and lesbians..and well gay people like him are the ones who are making it worse..jeez why cant people just love more=(

You did sort of ask for it... that comment was inflammatory and using "gay" as an insult isn't cool.
Admittedly, I laughed at the first video. Well... and the second video, too. But four out of five dentists agree, I have no soul. |
Isn't it illegal to use someone's image without a model release or consent forum?

I have to agree, it should be illegal to do something like what they did, using my image and all and making fun of me like that, but this is youtube.. people make picture slideshows of people all the time, like movie stars and random pictures of people..

Accept that anything you put on the internet is at that moment free and available to ANYONE.
If you're going to try and reprimand immaturity on the internet (which I assure you is probably THE biggest waste of time I can think of) at least try to do it as intelligently as possible. Selling yourself as an intelligent person, will make people who try to cut you down seem much less credible. |

I just finished checking everything out, I have to say that I am offended for you. I'm a plus sized girl too, and when people try to belittle others just because of someones size... Well that's just plain out screwed up. It's sad that those two (Juan and Ty?) have to go and say things like that. If it's true what they say, that "Ugly people don't have a voice" I wonder if they were informed that they too aren't exactly beautiful.
Blah, there I go being rude like them. No need. Anyway, I think you're very pretty. And don't let what others say get you down, the only thing that matters is your Fiance does think your beautiful! So screw what everyone else has to say, their opinions don't matter. |

Okay, so I was all ready to be on your side, then I read the comment you left. Yes, people are stupid. Yes, they have no right to publically embarrass you. And yes, they have bad taste. But Darling, you've got to just leave these people be. If you had left an intelligent comment that they utterly and completely overreacted to, I'd be totally with you. But you stooped to their level. And, you used gay as an insult, which I am completely against. If you don't want this kind of thing to happen, then be the better person. In this case, you weren't. |
