Welcome to the Help Desk!: We're always considering applications from tutors.

I realize this is a forum and that somewhat limits the kind of questions you may ask, as many questions are best explained with illustrations, 3-D models, etc. Also, I realize response time is important if it's a homework assignment. However, I'll do the best I can. If you have questions, I don't mind helping. If I get stuck, I'll ask my profs. & friends (they're all down this silly biosci track anyhow).

:) I'm hoping it's somewhat helpful to some of you guys. ^_^

Best of luck! Don't give up on those classes just yet! Drop a questions, and we'll get back to you asap.

Disclaimer:
Menewsha and those offering help here are in no way responsible or accountable for your homework, exams, quizes, grades, or homework. You are ultimately responsible for your own homework, exams, etc. We are merely offering a service for free, and trying to help people with concepts and visualizations. While we do try to give you citations for the sources that we used that can clarify and validate much of the details of whatever we're trying to tutor, we assume that many things are common knowledge--that protons are attracted to electrons, for example. Therefore, we will not cite things like that. However, it is up to you to make certain that if you disagree with something explained here, that you verify it on your own and don't just write down whatever we say, because we too, are human and might be incorrect at times.

General science and math courses, and Mandarin (fluent, tend to use pin-yin cause it's easier than attempting to type characters with an English keyboard). I'll also do audio files if you'd like, to help with pronunciation. I can also help with English composition.

Math up to Calc I, Undergraduate Bio. basically... Parasitology, Immunology, Phylogenetics, Anatomy and Physiology, Literature, English Composition, Biomedical Ethics, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Medical Terminology, Health Sciences, Cell Bio., and Physics. Also more than happy to clarify and try to provide information if you're curious about college applications, medical school, or nursing, as I've considered and researched all three of those paths. Or, if you're worried about what science courses to take to go down a health profession path, let me know? Kinda off the subject but if anyone does need help with oil painting, I can suggest a few things also. I cannot and will not decide any sort of "style" for you, but if you want to know how to get this or that to work some specific way, I can tell you how I usually do it.

2. You will not spam anyone about your homework. You may PM the tutors if you have questions, but if they ask you to stop, please stop. They'll answer it as soon as they can, as best as they can, but please don't spam em. Ty.

3. You will never give any tutor any personal information about yourself, and if any tutor ever asks anything of the sort, please report it to both a Menewsha moderator, AND BelleMorte at once (so that I may immediately remove them from this list).

4. You should give adequate time for the tutors to get back to your question. Use common sense. If it's a complicated question, give it a bit of time. We have our own lives to live also, and we check the forums now and then but if something is due soon, LIST when it's due. Don't flame us because you only gave us 30 minutes to answer a question from your online quiz that was due at X hour.

5. You will never plagiarize information given here as advice. If you have something due in a report, don't cite us. Tell us. We'll give you the actual source of the information or tell you it's general knowledge and give you an idea of a place you can begin to dig for that particular piece of info. You may not use this forum as "interview" type material for any report. Don't plagiarize the sources we give you either; cite them however your prof or TA wanted them cited.

In your question, please include the time and date you absolutely need the response by. Explain your question as detailed as you can. Tell us if it is a research paper or what exactly you need it for. If you ask us, "Can you describe malaria?" and don't tell us it's for research, we might just give you an answer along the lines of, "It's a disease due to parasites that are transmitted by mosquitoes." If you tell us it's for research, we will try to find some citations for you.

If you don't have MS Paint this is useful. A place that you can use to do doodles. Because we can autoskip to the end, we can get the figure rather easily.

Hey thankies so much Belle I do so hope that I'll be of some help. I can't promise to be perfectly correct on everything but I will try to be as accurate as I possibly can with the help I give. So how are things with you Belle? do you mind me shortening your name like that? I only do it because I'm lazy ^^

Added the new tutors, and am hoping people choose to make use of this place soon too, since it's easier to help people at the beginning of the course before they get behind, than to try to catch em up later. ^_^ But...even if ppl get behind, worry not! We're here to help you! :)

I hope I haven't missed to much in this thread but maybe put a note against my name and say pm if needed because sometimes I forget to check some of my threads if I am in a hurry. But given enough notice I am always around to help when needed!

Hi. Im not sure if i over looked a application or not but like i need help with my algebra 2.

Im a online student (currently cant log in until i call her tomorrow.) Anyway. She kicked me and my bf off for he can do his consumer math and i cant do my consumer math or algebra 2. and we are suppose to do 6 lessons a day.

Sounds easy right. Well when i only have 3 courses i know and 2 i dont and i need to do 3 a day and then my bf only has consumer math and he can graduate so he has to do 6 a day. Its not so easy its time consuming and the math is super hard.

I was wondering if you would help me to learn it or give me the answers or something but would you be willing to help me in algebra 2 and the consumer math?

I can give you one example for i remember it from my lessons but i cant give any more then that until i call her sometime tomorrow

The example is 36y2-1 i think its a one but i know the first half is correct. Well i know the answer is 6 + 1 but i dont get how they get the answer.

She showed me one answer so i could figure it out but i dont.

Also do you charge for your help?
