Okay. We all have our favourite foods, but if you really had to break down and settle for just one type of food for the rest of your life, what would you choose? Don't forget to take life expectancy into consideration while making your decision, as there would be no magical immortality powers induced in this scenario. How long would you expect your life to last on the food of your choice?
As for me, I would probably choose sushi. I could probably last a few months before dying of mercury poisoning, but they would be the most delightful few months.

Saltine crackers.
I adore them so much.
I'd probably last for a few months though. I can't just stick with one thing. I'd get sick of eating them and I'd just starve to death LOL

Ahh, <3 Saltine crackers!
Except I only like the ones without any salt. How paradoxical is that.

Ha!
I can't eat them if there isn't any salt on them. o3o
They're too bland then, in my opinion. xD

I was going to say sushi too! xD
But mercury poisoning would be very unlikely unless you're eating sushi made from shark, swordfish, bass, dolphin, whale, or trout. Salmon and shellfish are more common in sushi cuisine and they're very low in mercury. Tuna is probably the one you'd want to avoid more often, since it has been proven to cause poisoning in large quantities.
Besides, with sushi you can switch things up a bit. It's versatile and can include veggies and pickled things in maki rolls :3
The only other things you'd watch out for are parasites, and making sure your fish is fresh or cooked.

Hap: I just generally dislike salt, so that's the only reason. It's the same thing with french fries for me - I'd rather absolutely no salt on them.
Deviant: Very true, but tuna happens to be my most favourite raw-fish sushi! And yeah, you always have to be careful with any raw fish - especially when eating lots of it.

Spinach and fetacheese pirogues. They're addictive. My local food store sells them. They're quite expensive but heavenly.
Other things I'd be able to live on: chocolate, raw spiced salmon, popcorn.

Aspinou: The spinach and feta cheese perogies sound delicious... my mouth is watering just at the thought. I should really try and hunt them down.
From the rest of your list... I don't think you would have a very long life. LOL.

I'd probably settle for Indian food. If the curries are properly prepared (ie. not takeaway or microwave) then they can be extremely healthy. So I figure if I had curry and rice for the rest of my life, I would actually live the same amount of time as someone who lives in India.

I'll say pizza, because there's such a wide variety of both ways to make it and toppings that there'd be no need to ever get bored of it. Plus if you make them yourself, including the base, they can be really healthy.

At this moment in time, I think it has to be... soft shell crab! XD
I have had a lot of cravings for soft shell crab lately and I like it fried with my shoyu sauce. but that would make me thirsty >.<"
