The mall sounds like fun! I need to go have my eyebrows waxed, but it's so windy today and I don't want to go outside (I don't drive because we can't afford a car for me).

Haha, parents are neat alarm clocks. Something that bugs me is that lately, my phone hasn't been saving my alarms, so dad keeps having to wake me up.

Hehe :3 My mom used to be my alarm clock, since last semester I was commuting from home to college everyday (she'd drive me in every morning because her place of work isn't too far away from where I go to school). But now, this semester I'm in the dorm (which is worlds better for me) but yeah.

I commute too. It's such a pain getting up at 5 in the morning ;_;

Yeah, I needed to quit doing that. Dorm is a little more expensive, but I know I'll do better at school if I stay on campus. There's just something about my house that makes me want to do no work at all, whatsoever. >_<

If only I could afford the dorms, or something close to my school >_<

I know it's hurting my grades to have part of my day eaten by commuting, but I can't afford it so.. yeah.. and I don't want to be in more debt when I graduate DX

Platinum, I know it'll add a lot to your loans, but education loans are considered "good debt" and the benefits of living on campus FAR outweigh the costs. Not just academically, but also socially you are in a better position when you live on campus. I know I would not have been involved with groups and clubs if I lived off campus, and those groups are what is leading me into my career path of College Administration.

I guess that's true... but Tuition's already 30K a year, and the cost of living in the apartments (they're not really "dorms" in the traditional sense) is 1K a month.
I WANT to live there, but I can't >_<

The plus is, I'll be staying at my friend's place two nights a week now, so it makes things much better for me.

Oh, and my school doesn't have many clubs. Classes are pretty intense XD

That IS expensive, for living there too. Can I ask what school you are going to?

Otis College Of Art and Design. It's a private school. Relatively small.

Wow, yeah that is expensive. I think its 2-3k a semester for me.
But that's also specific to my building I was placed in, its more of an apartment (I share with 2 other people). But the more traditional dorms are much cheaper.

Oh, I forgot to mention: There's 4 students per apartment. It's 1K for each student ._.

Schools are so much more expensive now than they used to be. My tuition wasn't nearly that high - but books were pretty expensive.

Living on campus is so much better than living at home if you can possibly afford it. Also, you'll make friends that you will probably have for the rest of your life. You can't buy that sort of thing.

My school is only about $110 but that doesn't include books and the books are too expensive. But Uni is very pricey, not sure how pricey but it's alot.

My school is sort of reversed. Instead of having us buy books, they have us buy course readers, which are basically bound notebooks of copies from only the necessary parts of books.

We are also put into "sections", so in every class I have, all my classmates are the same. We all know each-other's names, and even majors. I'm also in honors, so 3 of my classes are a bit different, but there is only one honors group, and we all know each other as well.

As much as I'd LOVE to live in front of the campus, I can't >_<;

Oh, sweet! I have a teacher that always lets us do that, which is great, because my schedule is changing a bit. I'm going to have a 9-hour day! D8
But it's also a day where I get to sleep over at my friend's house ^^
