oooo....pineapple salsa. Does it taste good? I love peach and mango salsa (even thought I don't really like to eat mangos by themselves, the flavor goes well with some things).

I like both spicy and fruity kinds. Remember, tomato is a fruit...
So it makes sense to add other fruits.

Well, the tomato is technically a fruit; but it tastes like a vegetable.

I never heard of fruity salsas either, until we went to Colorado. My friends there brought out the Peach Mango salsa and I loved it. It was sweet yet spicy.

Eat it with salty chips and you have heaven...sweet, salty, tangy.

btw...I never believed the people who said that tomatoes are fruit.
They're vegetables to me (that's my story and I'm stickin to it).

Tomatoes, Scientifically are a fruit. And Sugared tomatoes do taste rather good. More specifically, they're a berry. Whereas Raspberries, Blackberries, and Strawberries are all NOT berries.

Also, I luuuurve corn salsa. oh man! if they could make a corn-pineapple-onion-tomato salsa and put that on a black bean burger I'd be in heaven!

You see, I've been trying to play Snake, and for some reason I'm so fumble-fingered this evening that I can't manage more than 2 or 3 gold per try. So it's taking me *forever* to get to my 500 max.

Hopefully typing will loosen my fingers up so I can go back to playing.

I like meat, but I'm getting more open to vegetarian options
(Mainly because they're lighter on the wallet)
and Black Bean burgers are delicious. They don't taste like beans.

Normally I'd agree about the meatless stuff being cheaper, except my hubbie shops for our veggies at one of the most expensive stores in town. (He likes *really* fresh stuff).

A real farmer's market would be a better alternative.

Every thanksgiving we have turkey...it's usually very very cheap...sometimes free. And it never fails - each time I say "We should have this more often". But for some reason we never do.

Turkey and dressing and gravey... then turkey soup afterwards. yumm...

Yeah, we have like three farmer's markets down the street from me. (I live in a large city)

Fresh veggies for like $30 max a trip. And that's $30 for like $90 of store fruits and veggies.

All this talk about food has me hungry for some fresh fruit. A nice crisp apple, or some juicy red grapes would be so good right now!
