Actually, I'm one of those things I *swore* I'd never become. The ex-smoker who constantly tells people how bad it is to smoke. I really have trouble with the smell of smoke now. (However, I don't think that's a *cigarette* that Thoth is smoking....) |
Well, if it is what I'm thinking, then it doesn't matter. I still don't like the smell. We had that smell back at my high school and I personally found it really gross. ^^;

I don't drink either, I think I'm pretty much legal everywhere now I'm 21(?). I never understand why when you tell people you don't drink they're always surprised and ask why. I honestly never saw the point in it, I go to the pub with my flat mate but I only have coke or red bull. The caffeine is enough for me besides that I like to know I'll be able to get her home without us both ending up either in a ditch or under a car. :XD

I had my wild side when I was younger. Then I realized that I really *didn't like* having a hangover! So I stopped the excesses.
Now I just have a glass of wine occasionally with meals, and a little Smith & Kearnes sometimes when I go out...every couple of months or so. (Smith & Kearnes: Kaluha, Creme, & club soda on the rocks. Except I use the fat free half and half). Oh yes...and when it's *really* cold out, I may put a slug of Kaluha into my hot chocolate.... |
She has fallen in a ditch once, I wasn't there I'd gone home and the bar man was walking her home. He told her not to grab for the hand rail because there wasn't one so she went for it and fell in a ditch.
If I have enough caffeine people think I'm drunk because I'm sensitive to it and it sends me a bit hyper and batty. The barman thought I was drunk once, that was weird. I'm older than him I think that's weird that I'm older than the barman. He lives in our halls though so we wait for him to clean up then he walks us home. :D |

I remember one time my hubbie and I went to the beach for an anniversary I think it was. We both drank so much...it was stupid. We decided when we went to bed that we wanted to go to sleep, hearing the ocean (it was an ocean front room - really nice).
So we left the windows wide open. Woke up in the morning, covered with mosquito bites. It took us the entire next day to kill all the mosquitoes in the room. I think that was the last time I ever got drunk.... |
As for myself and drinking...All the alcohol I've drinken in my life has been given me by my parents. That said, I've found a preference for the Kahlua and the cognac. And I rather dislike tequila.

No kidding. o3o; Once, I had one that I kept scratching. And scratching. And scratching. And by the time I looked at it again, it was freaking huge. Bigger than my damn fist!

Yes...West Nile is a huge risk you take when you get lots of mosquito bites.
I think I'm a bit allergic also, cuz I swell up a lot. I'm allergic to lots of bug bites. If I get a spider or ant bite, it swells up huge - my whole arm or leg swells up. Good excuse for getting out of yard work tho :). |
o3o; I don't get bitten by bugs too much. Or if I do, I don't notice.

Believe it or not Platinum, its good to get sick every now and than by viruses.... that way your immunity becomes strong. Its all a process.
Haha you guys are sooo funny. XD Its not that bad... I had west nile once... it feels like just a bad cold... It only kills really old people and infants. |
