I've been wandering around, looking. I guess that it must be too nice outside for folks to be in on the computer today or something.

it is pretty nice outside... Well... At least here, it is supposed to snow later today.... But I haven't seen any signs of this, neverending blue skies!!!

And as for how i'm doing, I'm alright, currently at work, and work conveniently has a computer placed a few feet away from the workplace... pretty easy to chat and stuff while working... I work at a radio station by the way... I'm tired of the Huskers Though... Local sports fetish... lol x.x

So what do you do...are you an announcer? I don't listen to the radio much. Too many political talk shows on it seems. I get tired of everybody hollering about how terrible the other guy is.

Yeah.... that is 99% of politics.... But in today's world you can't really get by without mudslinging....

And they call me an announcer.... I handle board operations... I play dj and go on the air to do weather.... Not a lot of politics around here... at least... not while i work... it would have to be during school usually... we have one show i know of.... I play a lot of commercials during sports otherwise... that is what KCOW does most of the time.

Must be a fun job. There aren't too many of those around these days.

Would that be in Lincoln? My husband has family around there. His Dad grew up in Seward. I knew that the Huskers sounded familiar...they love sports, so I'm sure I've heard it mentioned numerous times.

It can be fun, but when Rockies get around its a pain in the butt staying up until midnight on school nights.

No, Lincoln is a much larger city than where I live, the panhandle of Nebraska is a bit more farm focused, mostly cattle. KCOW is a combination of two different radio broadcasts, Double Q Country (focused for country music lovers and farmers : Sports is focused around Chadron) and KCOW, which is classic music and they handle the bigger stuff (Huskers, Rockies, Super Bowl...) KCOW also handles the local sports... Alliance Football/Basketball

My hubbie and I *never* buy things for Valentines day for each other.

However, I *am* addicted to those valentines hearts.....

and ok... well... I suppose gifts go left and right whenever.... I wouldn't care for the day if i thought my other wanted something (within mental reasoning). I'm currently single, and i can't say i have experience, so I don't know the details of how serious relationships really work out.

I will get/do something small for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day, only because we don't want to let it go by totally unnoticed, but I've always thought it a dumb holiday marketed to make money and make people feel bad.

We usually just get dressed up and go somewhere nice for dinner, that's about it.

Candy hearts always make me sick becuase I eat too many. :sweat:

That's something my girl I I would probably do, although this year we're gonna be on the road to New Jersey for a baby shower. We'll be seeing some of her friends on the way through Connecticut on Saturday.
