I've never seen one. Not even when I was in the Navy standing around at odd hours. Which reminds me that a friend told me that when he was in the US Air Force, he was stationed in England. He saw UFOs from time to time.

I still think it's so amazing that you've seen them!!

HIM_ROCK 02-13-2009 10:40 PM

We get quite a few round some places have more UFO sightings than others.

`Kitami 02-14-2009 12:33 AM

I think there's a lot of things that are easily mistaken for UFOs to some people (like satellites and things) and that's why there's so many sightings.

Those things that I've seen, I honestly don't know what they could be, so I just say UFO. Not necessarily meaning that there's little green men or whatever driving them. :XD Just that I don't know what the hell they are. And the silver ones, which several other people have seen with me, none of them have any explanation for them either. Its kinda creepy. O.o

HIM_ROCK 02-14-2009 08:48 PM

I just watched a video of an apparent UFO it looked like a catapilla on a glass roof.

Elmira Swift 02-14-2009 08:56 PM

That sounds interesting. An organically-based ship or did it look distorted because of how it was filmed?

HIM_ROCK 02-14-2009 09:03 PM

It was possibly filmed on a digital camera. It came into proper focus once but the rest of the film it was quite blury and they moved the camera around alot. When it came into proper focus it looked like a small hairy catapilla or a twig. It looks like it was filmed though a window at a caravan site because you can see a shine.

Elmira Swift 02-14-2009 10:33 PM

The National Geographic channel has a UFO special on right now. It includes interviews with ex-military pilots who saw UFOs when they were flying on missions, some info from project blue book, too. Pretty interesting!

27UndeadMen 02-22-2009 10:53 PM

*pokes in head* This looks interesting.

Thoth Star 02-23-2009 06:15 PM

Thats interesting Elmira. I wouldn't be surprised if indeed that programmer had seen a real UFO... When I was a kid I watched tons of sci-fi flicks too. X-files ftw.

Wow, I've never heard of odinism before... Supremacists are very into religions with rituals...
Thats really cool Elmira... Is your friend persian?
Oh yeah, I've seen that UFO special before... its pretty cool.

Maybe Christa, if the person were drunk or high than little things like satellites or planes could seem like a ufo... but for people that have studied ufo's its easy to tell the real thing apart from fakes. I mean, a satellite can't do a 90-degree turn. No way in hell...

I've seen lots of silver ufos too... I do believe that they're flown by aliens...
And I do believe that there's a conspiracy going on to keep the alien abductions from reaching the public's ears...

Hello Undead, how are you? ^^ You like paranormal stuff?

HIM_ROCK 02-23-2009 06:24 PM

I has found a site you may like alot Thoth, for it has a large section on UFOs.

http://theshadowlands.net/

SporknSpok 02-23-2009 06:32 PM

I know a great website for paranormal pictures!!
=O

Ghost Study-->Galleries and just sift through all of those, there are ALOT of really freaky pictures!

HIM_ROCK 02-23-2009 06:43 PM

I may have to go have a search for that site. TO GOOGLE!!

Elmira Swift 02-23-2009 07:03 PM

Spork - which movie is that creature in your sig from? It looks very familiar but I just can't put my finger on it!

I think a lot of the supremacists/prison guys/skins get into Odinism as a way to connect with their roots. I just wish they weren't so damned obnoxious about it. I'm in a national organization that doesn't care about skin color or sexual orientation. They're pretty open to anyone. Heathenry is so small that everyone knows everyone or will at some point. I've heard numbers where we're estimated at being between 5-10k in the US. Not sure about Canada. We are very into ancestral worship, so in my home, we celebrate my (now deceased) husband on his birthday. Sometimes we feel him around, usually sort of this feeling that he's checking in to see if we're ok. Totally random.

My friend is very much a Southern girl - definitely not Persian. Auburn hair and green eyes. Are you Persian or did you find out about the religion another way?

HIM_ROCK 02-23-2009 07:06 PM

Spork has Fizzgig from The Dark Crystal in her signiture. It's a scene when it was having a tantrum.

I can't find that website D: has anyone got a link ?!?!

Elmira Swift 02-23-2009 07:08 PM

Thanks! I kept thinking, "Dark Crystal??" but haven't seen it in a million years. We had an old vcr tape of it and it was in such craptastic shape that I had to throw it out. So, haven't seen the movie in over 10 years and totally miss it!

HIM_ROCK 02-23-2009 07:26 PM

Haha the site works now, stupid link being a bum and not working for me.

When you want to get a DVD you can never find anyone to buy it from.

Elmira Swift 02-23-2009 08:12 PM

I know! Wonder if it's one of those items that you'd find at the thrift store :)

Thoth Star 02-24-2009 03:36 AM

Thank you HIM for the site! ^^ Put it on front page. Yay, I like reading awesome stories about ufo/alien stuff.

Thanks Spork! 8) Cool site. How are you?

Hello Elmira~ hows it going?

`Kitami 02-24-2009 06:47 AM

HIM:: What really sucks is when the store has a DVD that you want (for example The Crow at a video game store) for weeks, and then when you finally get the money to buy the damned thing, its gone. ;-;

HIM_ROCK 02-24-2009 08:49 AM

It's awful I can't find it anywhere. When I want the english dub of something I can't find it anywhere.

While I'm waiting for it to turn up I shall have to fill my time with The Mighty Boosh and the paranormal.

MacSen191 02-24-2009 03:40 PM

I loved the dark crystal growing up. I have it floating around the house somewhere... movie I really want to get on DVD is the Labryntih(I know, I spelled that so wrong...) Awesome movie. I used to watch that movie all the time growing up... heh, probably explains a lot. :)

HIM_ROCK 02-24-2009 03:43 PM

Labrynth is quite cheep to buy, I can see I will probibly be needing a new copy of it soon. Wore the video out and the DVD is going the same way only with scratches.

MacSen191 02-24-2009 03:51 PM

Oooo I hate that! That happened to my Fiddler on the Roof DVD. But then again, my sig other hid it on me and just threw it in a drawer cuz he was sick of me watching it.(I like the music... and the storyline is good.) I know that some movies really cheap to get... can probably find Labrynth in the five dollar bin at wal-mart, but I never have any money, and when I do I always spend it on my son or things I need. And it is very very rare for me to have even a dollar on me... it sucks having a job, but you never see the money because it goes towards bills and food.

HIM_ROCK 02-24-2009 03:55 PM

My olders sister buys alot of our DVDs from online because it's cheeper than buying them out of a shop.

Elmira Swift 02-24-2009 06:11 PM

Hello everyone! I still haven't started a search for a replacement for Dark Crystal. Kids are keeping me busy.

Am thinking about looking around online for more paranormal sites to check out!
